Because why would they push out an update when the majority are asleep? Maybe 1 or 2 am PT?
I mean you knew an update (which usually means maintenance) was coming and still played anyway?

My coop partner and I have backed off, only playing 2-3 games a week now for the past few weeks.
I stopped doing any market work a month ago and nor do I try to complete programs anymore.
My partner and I would usually quit playing by end of June/early July as life and summer projects take over but this year we said we wanted to try and make it to August. We may not make it to the end of May lol
This is my last year giving these incompetent idiots my money. Burning it would be more enjoyable than giving it to a company that puts out a game like they have while allowing an untold amount of game and market manipulation to occur.
The absolutely ONLY positive thing they have done this year is actually making balls on the black all called strikes now. Big win there but not nearly enough to retain me.
Some of yall really need to seek counseling lol
Any update on this? I had the most fun I have had in the game last night flipping and didnt realize that it was due to bots not accessing companion app. Hoping bot activity is being reduced.
It's not just bots. Human idiots via the app also ruin flipping. They tank margins faster than the bots. At least bots are +/- 1 stub, not 500 lol
Done on April 11th
You people are not playing the same game I am. This game has ALWAYS rewarded painting the black. But now it is calling strikes that are not remotely touching the strike zone. If I can see air between where the ball is marked and the strike zone line, that is not a strike, I don’t care how they’re “interpreting” things. It’s not working as intended. Period.
You are high af. Go sleep it off bro.
Statistics needs to be taught starting in kindergarten smh
I have no issue with the new zone - I just dont like that its "perfect" now (no variance from game to game - if it clips box, its a strike). Doesn't feel realistic at all to me.
I'd rather have perfect and know exactly what is and isn't going to be a strike than the RNG BS that occurred prior.
New strike zone is amazing! Finally, we will be rewarded for dotting the black.
The problem with the way it was: you make a great pitch that straddles the black. No swing and called a ball. So now you have to try and adjust to bring it inside little more except the game fks you and serves up a meatball to be crushed.
Happens continuously in this game.
Coop last night was great as we were able to pitch ourselves to be competitive.
The strike zone should be "wonky" though, cause that's how real umps call things in real games. The box should disappear and you should get two challenges like in real baseball....but mistaken calls are part of the game, and I don't like this new "completely consistent perfect zone."
This will be a big benefit to my coop partner and I. The automatic calls won't hurt us from a hitting stand point because we swing at almost everything (yes we suck) but some how our opponents NEVER swing at anything on or close to the black. Balls straddling the midline get called balls 90% of the time. So while we will still suck hitting, this should significantly improve our pitching which we are pretty decent at.
There's been nothing more frustrating the past few years than a 99OVR 1M+ stub card (Felix, Clemens, Randy) getting buttfcked with calls on the black.
@SiberiaTigerCub_PSN I'm sorry, but I think that's a terrible idea. There's already a 20 buy limit. As a no money spent player, it would really throw a wrench into my stub making on the market.
You want to benefit from stub making via flipping but can't acknowledge that the app is the single worst thing that has happened to us market flippers. It has given free reign to the idiots to cripple margins on everything.
The few times this year the app has been down or restricted in some way have been the absolute best flipping days of the year.
Just log into your console via remote access and flip away.
I think I began flipping around the same time the app was introduced. Was it really better before the app?
Like shooting fish in a barrel
Did you get banned recently? Lol
Believe it when I see it. These guys don't have a great track record of implementing what they say that will. PCI shrinkage anyone? Lol

Why does a dog lick its b@lls?
@Ditka06_MLBTS I do miss when all br cards where available thru a program it was like a race to a goldmine the day those programs dropped.. probably why they stopped to much coins to be made. Now we don’t even get br cards
BR, topps, henchmen, etc all used to be sellable. Topps and henchmen were great at you could easily make 800-1200 stubs per flip with some actual volume even up to a couple weeks after they dropped.
BR cards were great for investment.
SDS really has taken so much from this game while giving us a [censored] product in return.
So happy this is going to be my last year as I just can't keep giving money to a company that puts out a subpar product while charging a premium for it.
@aaronjw76_PSN Yes, I have a bunch of stuff to sell
Based on historical practices you're probably looking around memorial day for the first stub sale. Caveat: flash sales usually precede stub sales.
Because its a sub 90 card even if he jumps in OVR the price will remain relatively unchanged because the supply is already plentiful
Do you enjoy 30% higher prices? Unless you are holding investments, stud sales are terrible for people wanting to pick up cards lol
What a terrible first collection card lmao
Stubs are safe
