League games vs CPU - don’t switch to capture gallery!

Something I discovered (the hard way) when playing a league game vs CPU team, switching to the capture gallery to view a clip you just saved disconnects the game and you get a loss.

I had just hit Amed Rosario’s (Mets) second homer in his second AB vs James Paxton (Yankees) to tie the game 3-3 in the 3rd; I switch to capture gallery to view and trim the clip; when I switch back to the game I have been disconnected and I lose 3-3.

Also the game continues in the background when you have the share menu showing.
