Yep it is. Faced him today and won down 10-15. Pretty easy I thought, he doesn't throw over 95.

I don't understand this? AS is more difficult than Veteran so shouldn't the everything from the CPU be easier (eg: worse pitches)?
They throw more pitches in the zone, on all star they try to trick you more with pitches just off the plate. If your strategy is to take pitches until they are out of stamina veteran could be more difficult.
Seems like on Veteran the CPU pitchers throw more fastballs over the plate. Just wait till you get a good pitch to hit over the middle and get any variation of Inner Peace perks.

Yea and this is by no means a complaint just an observations. This one way easier to beat. But There’s some guys that it’s just hard to get good wood on. Mainly the 102 mph guys, Kopech, Pearson. Only one I have failed so far I faced 99 Kluber as second boss and could not square him up. Would have been easier on all star imo.

Yes. Stage 2 is locked until you finish stage 1.

One thing i noted right away, most of the hitting ones you start with a guy on base. I will agree they are generally easier and faster. I'm working through NL right now. One of the 2nd tier ones for example was to score 3 runs in 3 innings...but they start you with bases loaded in the 1st. I hit a single and then a HR and was done...easy peasy. But even without the HR I could have manufactured at least 2. The toughest was the 1st one so far, scoring I think 2 runs off Sixto Sanchez. There was a moment against the Brewers where you needed 3 hits AND 3 strikeouts, so one side of the ball wasn't a complete waste of time.
Also worth noting, you get 2 diamonds right off the bat instead of 1...which is generally nice. I went Yelich and Rollins
This as well is a huge help! And even the second boss is on Veteran...

Obviously, it's not like I skipped them. I just cant hit 102 mph fastballs and kept getting Pearson and kopech.
Like I said though, losing in the end was my own fault. I started swinging at junk once the winning run was on.

Yup, I haven't even done the new ones, because i have too many other teams at stage 1. In fact i only have 2 teams at stage 2. So I'm still doing the old ones.

Hate to ask this again but there’s no collection for stage 2 so if you maxed out 70 points in stage 1, (without doing collections) collections wouldn’t grant you the 10 points right? Collections should be available for all stages depending on when you get collections done

It makes sense that the collection doesn’t give you points for Stage 2 though.
If someone already had the collection done for Stage 1, and there’s a mission for that same collection in stage 2, they would get the points again for Stage 2 because they already have the mission finished.
It sucks if you didn’t do the collection for Stage 1, but it’s not that big of a deal in the end.

I just think that collections should be available one time only at any stage. I lost about 100 points bc I had 10 teams maxed but didn’t do any collections

I just don’t think SDS would be able to set it up like that though.

I just don’t think SDS would be able to set it up like that though.
They could if completing the collection gave a TA voucher,like they did for the potm moments.

Or, they nerfed them because the data showed the success rate was awful.
Think about it this way, it costs 1000 stubs $1 to play so to new people who don't know anything about flipping cards for stubs or grinding for stubs they are going to pay for stubs. If the consumer feels that the money is being wasted on a mode thats not rewarding why play, why keep paying money if you think it's too hard they may feel that the mode is a money grab. Now if the mode is easier the new consumer is going to shell out money for stubs and play feeling they too can get a good card.
It's a business and sds needs to keep people especially new people playing and paying especially in this lockdown.

I had pleasac, Rollie (wtf?) then the braves guy
Al I had snell , ohtani and then the Astros guy
