So yeah, finally SSD tweaked the sliders for DD hitting.

I am not an expert at MLB the show. In fact, this is my first post and first year playing DD. I am not at the level of youtubers and guys who make world series in a constant basis. The most I have made is Wild Card, I think. However, when I play offline, I play on legend and I can hit well. So, the question is, how come a guy who plays the max level offline can struggle so much on All Star in DD. That’s because the sliders are not set the same for DD and offline play. In fact, it is incredibly different. Playing DD has become more like a chore and is not enjoyable whatsoever. A 90+ fastball feels like 120 MPH. For the regular guy who plays on his tv for fun, it is just not an enjoyable experience.

But tonight came and it all changed. Timing was right there to the point where you could actually have some pitch selection and hit some balls because of your skill and not out of luck. Tonight I didn’t have to guess on pitches but instead was able to actually read the pitches and swing on time. Even the fielding and base running has been smooth. It has been the best gameplay I have seen.

Now, what a coincidence that it happened on the same night that the players league was televised ( Wink Wink). You know SSD, I am here to ask you to please leave the game as it has been tonight, because it has been perfect. I really don’t know why you guys give us such a glitchy defective product every day, if clearly you guys have the power to give us this great product. I am probably wrong here, but I would hate to think that you guys knowingly give us such bad gameplay every day only to bring out the best when MLB players are the ones playing on a televised tournament. Please don’t change it back. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the content and the fun you have given us throughout this coronavirus crisis. It has been a life saver. Please just give us great gameplay as well. Don’t go back an make DD hitting such an unpleasant activity. PLEASE

    Hopefully you guys read it!!

    Thanks!!

They didn't change the sliders. You just had a good night. I haven't noticed a change. Also the players league is on Veteran so its no surprise they can hit

Nothing changed at all, you just got hot one night. And the players league isn't even in DD.

Today > "I hit well today, they finally got sliders right"
Tomorrow > "I can't hit anything, why would they mess with the sliders!!"

The basic mentality of, "If I'm winning the game is great"

I dont know what changed for you, but if something changed it caused my opponent to throw a perfect game against me with Oswalt.

I couldn't hit a fastball or really any pitch.

Probably just a great night. I had one too!! Worked into the high 600s, knocking on the door of 700 for first time this year.

I make 700 every year and have made 800s once.
