Getting picked if second base

[censored] happens to me every time i take a lead at second ... can i just not take a lead wtf is going on ? Nonim not trying to steal 3rd either

Most of the time, it's not worth taking the chance of taking a lead.
If you see the shortstop or second baseman cheating/leaning towards the bag, don't try it.
I feel your pain. I've gotten picked off a lot. -
No need to take the extra step.

Anytime and every time my opponent takes an extra step off 2B, I WILL pick him off 100% of the time! I use SZ view while pitching so I can see when they take a lead, I will setup my SS for the pickoff every time and guaranteed out each and every time!

It's because last year the pick off to second never worked so this year they made it a thing so everyone wasn't getting an extended lead without any consequence. Rather than taking a lead work on hitting the ball through the hole the player covering the bag is giving up.

They've mentioned last year they already start you off with an extra step. If you take another one, prepare to be picked

It worked last year! You have to have SS "hold at 2B". I was picking people off at 2B all of last year as well.
