Beyond toxic vile experience in a game

That's a lot of the reason I don't play much online, one being I'm not that good. People constantly going into the quick menu, pause menu or holding R2. The only time I push R2 is for a second if I forget what pitches the guy throws. I never pause and I go into quick menu to hit the bullpen or pinch hit. But some people you play are hitting quick menu after every pitch. They aren't staying in very long but it's just annoying.

I'm primarily an offline player as well. I don't like the whole confrontation aspect that comes with online either. Luckily I've never really had someone send me messages or do what happened in this case but the chances of it happening are still there. I'm quite happy playing the CPU at conquest or doing MTO.

this is why I keep my online play to just enough to achieve the program missions of 10 wins.

Saw this on Facebook, Next time some continually runs the pause timer down on you, when you’re in an inning that their pitcher will be up, make sure they’ve run the timer down, walk them to get to their pitcher it’ll automatically take them to the pinch hit screen and forfeit their game because they won’t have time left
I actually did this earlier in the year. The guy was pausing all game, bunt dancing. I was up 1-0 and he tied it. POTM Sanchez was up and I thought screw it, I'll just throw junk. After about ball 2 I realized he was gonna run out of time.
I felt like I made a scummy move, but more than once the clock ran down to 0:00, and he'd come back before I could hit square.
