If you collect all the legend cards I believe you get stars for the first inning (Ortiz, Smoltz, Glavine, Sheffield, Mantle Maddux and Rivera)

That's true it might be best to just wait it out for now they may drop in price later and there's no rush to finish collections for innings. You have all year.
