I'm so tired of getting pop ups, choppers,and weak hits off good times hits in the middle of the strike zone

For the last 2-3 weeks I can not get a good hit in any online or showdown modes. Pitches right down the middle. With Good timing and I get ok, weak, pop up or chopped hits.

Doesn’t happen on zone. That tends to only happen with people using directional. So if you’re gonna let the cpu aim your pci for you then you deserve every pop up you hit into. If you’re using zone then forget everything I just said lol.

Ok thanks. New to the game. I thought directional hitting kept the hitting zone just in the center.

If you plan to play this game a lot and want to be good online highly recommend switching to zone hitting and practicing a lot with it. You have more opportunity to control the Hit result, but if you enjoy directional do you.

@juststrong88 start by splitting the strike zone in 2, N or S. See ball hit ball. As you get better split the zone in 1/3’s 1/4’s 1/6’s ....etc
