Newbie here!
Which cards fluctuate up and down every so often based on performance? Obviously I know the season hasn't started yet LOL!
But, for example, will the 84 OVR Kris Bryant ("event" card)....could that eventually be a diamond 85?
TIA

In years past it would take them over a month after the season started before any cards got upgraded or downgraded because they would take a sample size and then compare to past few seasons.
If and when the season actually starts you may not see any upgrades until June/July in which case most LS cards won’t be worth much at all because of better cards being released. Save for Trout, Belli, Sherzer, etc.
This year is an anomaly with the Covid situation. Also it’s rare to make much profit off of a gold card going diamond because the price usually only bumps up by like 5k. You usually profit off of a silver player having a great season and eventually going diamond but that’s a long season investment. You just won’t see that this year.

Are there any "Live" cards out right now? For example, this 84 Kris Bryant, will that eventually fluctuate?

Only based on his season stats IRL or the pitcher he's facing. Not looking good though, he's hitless through April.

If they start playing and his playing is better or worse than that 84 then there is the potential for it to change. Any live series player can get an update, especially if they are excelling or tanking.
Of course they have to start playing and gets a month or so worth of games under their belt before it will happen.

Yea, but my question is: Is the "Event" Card for 84 Kris Bryant a "Live Series" card?

It means he’s usable in the event, nothing more. So yes, if the season was going on right now he could potentially (likely) get boosted to a diamond, or downgraded.
Also, if the season was being played in real life, the live series players get the inside edge boost depending on who they are facing. So for example, the 84 Kris Bryant might get a boost for that days game if the pitcher he's facing in real life he's done good against, so his card would still say an 84 but he would have boosts in contact, power, etc
