I wish they would bring back the play vs CPU like they had in 18.

I dont get what you are saying here. You can play vs CPU 9 inning games just like in 18 right now.

There was missions to play the CPU, for example play the AL East - Baltimore would be on rookie and they'd get progressively harder. It gave you a reason to play vs CPU other than just affinity innings

Coming from someone who usually finishes all the moments and has moderate success doing so (with the rare exception where it takes me a while, like the Jackie 2 doubles), I don’t mind moments but hate showdown. It’s the all or nothing aspect of showdown that kills me. I tried another run again yesterday after swearing off the mode for a week. I failed on the second mini boss in a ridiculous manner (I was one run away from a win with 7 outs to go and then things just awry). It’s just all or nothing when it comes to the vouchers (yes, I know you get stubs and XP if you went as far as I did). But we’re all playing this mode for the vouchers not the stubs or XP. At least with moments, if you fail, you can retry the same moment without much of waste of time.

Now, multi-game moments can take a while if you’d fail and same with pitching ones, but mostly it’s not as big of a time sink if you fail as showdown is.

I will say, dropping the Gibson and Corbin moments at the same time was heavy. I told myself I’ll just slowly do them since that’s a lot of pitching innings. Maybe one a day or something.

i really liked the moments concept when they created it last year. it was a nice addition to the game but it was an addition, not the whole game. they should keep moments but how about adding some more modes we've all asked about for years like an offline season using your DD team or maybe some other offline dd game modes.
