Showdown required for Spotlight collection?!

I just tried to complete the spotlight collection for the Elly voucher and every single spotlight card is required to finish. Three Astros pitchers are part of it and they’re locked behind a showdown from May! I don’t like that at all. A lot of people don’t like that mode!

I completed the survey and said all cards should be available for purchase I am like u I have zero cards from showdowns

I’m skipping the spotlight program. Just saw that you can skip three.
Btw I was also a little surprised that all of them were required. Usually there are some you can skip. They required all Topps Now cards also

I am a showdown hater as well. Avoid it like the plague.
Having said that, i remember those being stupid easy.

They are all easy other than the couple
hard ones like DeGrom, which you can buy for 10k stubs. -
I think they changed showdown this year so that if you fail one moment you can keep going. Not positive though. They certainly made them easy this year though.
I know easy is relative, but I used to hate showdowns too, avoided them at all costs - but cruised through them this year without any thought.

They did, at least one some, because i had a [censored] of a time with one and ended with four Alimber Santa's (much to my chagrin as I see him every [censored] time i sorry via dupes on the app haha).
