    I’m at the point now where I just quit the app and replay the games constantly until I get one that feels fair because every game insists on making me give a bucket load of runs away despite the fact I’m locating my pitches perfectly and there’s nothing else I can physically do but sit back and watch everyone smash me around like a piñata.

    This game is so scripted it’s not even trying to hide it. There’s no logic and skill isn’t rewarded. You just get to a point of doing ‘too well’ and the game has to force you through [censored] so it can keep your stats down.

    Screw this scripted [censored] heap of a game. SDS you suck and so does your scripted fest of a baseball game.

    This really made me LOL.

    I'm not trying to belittle your frustration, but have you not played a sports game before?

    EVERY sports game does this. If they were based on 100% skill, you would eventually get to the point where you won every time. They have to provide some manner of challenge into the game. So, they code a bunch of 'comebacks' or things of that nature.

    Nothing much you can do except turn down the difficulty ... or restart. 😉

    @StinkyMcPooter_XBL The scripting is unacceptable.

    I’m currently playing game 7 of the ALCS and I’ve given up 4 runs and 7 hits in the second inning because the Red Sox batters are just hitting everything I throw regardless of where I throw it or how well I execute it. I’m perfectly executing pitches to the corners of the zone and my guy is just throwing meatballs right down the middle for guys to smash out the park, what a joke.

    This game is ridiculous, it doesn’t reward skill it’s just a load of predetermined [censored].

    I don’t mind being punished for making mistakes but I’m being punished for playing well so what’s the point in continuing to play when it seems like the game is forcing certain outcomes.

    CPU is terrible...throw fastballs up and in and sliders down and away. I have never had any issues playing vs cpu..

    @sbchamps17_NSW It’s not one bad game, it’s a ton of bad games. The postseason one is the one that has been loaded with the most BS so far.

    Constantly having my perfect pitches crushed and fielders repeatedly making errors which allow runners to come home and turning hits that would normally be singles into doubles and triples. I didn’t even see this amount of errors on routine plays at AA level and now, at the top level, they seem to be everywhere.

    This game is void of logic, it’s just randomness and scripting.

    @DookieD19_XBL You must be playing on a lower difficulty and/or have maxed out stats.

    Fastballs up and in are regularly getting crushed and I’m executing them perfectly. The game either forces them down the middle or allows batters to just smack them out of the stadium regardless.

    I’m guessing that’s to keep my stats down and to fulfill the predetermined outcome of certain games because nothing else seems like a logical reason.

    If I make a mistake and don’t execute I get it, but its happening on pitches where I’m not doing anything wrong and it feels like hitters just have free roam to destroy whenever they feel like it.
