Why is my pitcher suddenly giving up home runs for fun?

I haven’t changed the difficulty or any sliders, I’ve upgraded my stats and I’m executing my pitches perfectly and yet all of a sudden I’m giving up multiple home runs every game?
I really hate this game sometimes…

After writing this post, I went back to playing and on the first pitch (a perfectly executed fastball to the high inside corner) it got smashed out the park.
F*** this trashy game and its scripted mechanics.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how well you execute a pitch or square up a ball with your PCI the game decides otherwise. It definitely feels much more scripted than in past years.

@TripleH-4481_PSN Absolute joke, what a terrible game. RNG the show strikes again. User input means zero, everything is a dice roll. No reward for skill, just a dice roll and hope for the best. Trash.

Sadly, yes it has trended that way and you can feel/see it coming once you have played a good amount.
