What happened to the idea of setting up secondary positions for fielders?

It's been six months since I heard that it's now possible to set the secondary position in RTTS carrier mode this year, but was that information just a hoax after all? I'm extremely disappointed. If anyone else feels the same way, please share your thoughts.

Another classic example of the marketing team either being told to announce some new wrinkle, or simply saying it is present, when in fact it never was coded properly.
Consequently, it's another empty promise that likely will never be fixed. But, you are not wrong. This was part of the marketing package for MLB 26. This absence is likely another reason why SDS has abandoned the live online interactive sessions with customers.
They just don't want to face the music!

I believe it's been confirmed that they misspoke when they said secondary positions would be in RTTS.
I don't know that it was part of the "marketing package," the only place I remember having heard it was on one livestream when one dev was answering viewer questions. I believe I saw an official staff post somewhere that said that was him just being incorrect but I can't be bothered to go back and find it. It is at least an example of something we used to have years ago that we no longer do.
