They have a product and you decide to purchase it. If revenue is not being generated at the rate that SDS wants then that is the point where they will re-evaluate their model on how they provide cards to the community. It is not up to them to feel bad for the person who spends money on their product. There ultimate goal is to make money just like most other businesses.
Companies are not putting in work to try lose out on money. If things are priced too high or not worth it then people will stop paying which will result in changes from SDS standpoint. As long as the money keeps coming in, nothing will change.

And that is where they keep giving garbage 85 diamond cards that will just ride the bench or be in the collection section never to be seen. Its honestly a lose lose for us and I guess we have to just not spend money on the game since no one wants to fight the man on this.

Like most other people since MLB 17 I have successfully completed the entire MLB collections in each of the past games. I feel like SDS should reward us better for spending those stubs for the next year. They give us Gold cards, i feel like if you complete the collection this year at the start of next years game they should provide a "High Diamond" Card pack. I didn’t think the gold cards were for anything other than “you played last year” and not bc you finished the collections. Either way that’s a bad idea for them, who do you think spends the money on stubs to buy the high end cards. That’s like saying “because I graduated from college , I should get free season tickets to

It’s a horrible business decision for them. Logic prevails. If people are spending money to buy cards, why would you give them a high diamond pack? They’re most likely going to spend the money anyways.
It’s simple really: grind it out online (via program/competitive rewards), grind it out offline (program rewards and conquest, albeit this method is not ideal), or spend the money. The choice is yours. SDS doesn’t owe you anything for using money to buy your cards. They just owe us to make a game worth playing. You make the choice.

Your reward is you get the best cards in the game, the AL, NL, and MLB collection players -- Biggio, Sheff, and Mantle -- cards that other players will never have the opportunity to use. Plus every other player in the game abd a significant advantage to anyone else...
I'm kind stunned you want more... Any card you get in that diamond pack wouldn't even be usable on your roster.
