So im at a particular situation in which I need some help from vets of the show or pros. So im decent at this game and want to get better so I invest a lot of time of grinding to get some good cards then hit the RS. Finally hit that silver rank and I got the legend pack. So my line up is decent and I need to pick either another great bat or a second baseman that will be there forever since there isn't much at second that I can pick from.

    My line up consists of:

    C- Gary Sanchez (Monthly)
    1B- Matt Olson (FOTF)
    2B- Mookie Betts (Live Series)
    3B- Gleyber Torres (FOTF)
    SS- Fernando Tatis (FOTF)
    LF- Aaron Judge (Live Series)
    CF- Carlos Gonzalez (Flashback)
    RF- George Springer (Live)

    Pitching
    Ace- Kluber (99)
    2- Cole (Live)
    3- Oswalt (Reward)
    4- Verlander (Live)
    5- Sale (Live)

    Relief

    Chapman (Live)
    Isringhausen (Reward)
    Doolittle (Reward)
    Yates (Live)
    Hand (Live)
    Rivera (Legend)
    Kimbrel (Live)

So I keep hearing that Sandberg has a weird stance and I suck with weird stance players (ie Stanton has amazing power and contact, but cant hit with him at all), but has amazing defense and I might need some inside the diamond. Reggie I hear slaps, and im also a huge Yankees fan since I was a kid so this will be a great pick up for me, but his fielding is average.

My end state question is Sandberg for utility and defense, but an okay bat? Or Reggie for amazing bat, but decent defense?

This is the same decision I have to make, between those 2. I'd go Reggie. His defense is subpar, but his bat is just so dangerous. More than makes up for the defense.
Sandberg is one of those guys that some people rake with and some people just don't

I chose Reggie and it was definitely between those 2 for me. I just couldn’t pass up the best hitting lefty in the game. I’ll get sandberg second go around . Reggie hits nukes btw

I personally think Sandberg is great, but if you need a big lefty bat, Reggie is amazing too.

Not only does he hit nukes, he can hit any pitch anywhere, he took an Amir Garrett well placed low and away slider on the black oppo taco vs me the other day. I wasn't even mad.

He's also got the most baller bat flip in the game. An absolute joy.

I can not wait to get him, only a few more levels, he's absolutely destroyed me facing him.

I was torn between sandberg and larkin (I took Reggie first). I rip with larkin in BR, but for ranked, I want a bat that can hit home runs consistently off righties and lefties, so I took sandberg.

I would say Reggie as you only have a couple lefty bats and he would be a huge (offensive) improvement over Springer.

To be fair, it’s not really a big decision. Choose whichever you feel like you need more now, then get the other next time. You’re not going to miss out on either of them.

I wanted Reggie but had soooo many outfielders and few choices at second. I went with Sandberg (one of my favorites growing up) and I am glad I did.

    17 Games, 59 PA, 7 Runs, 17 H, 3 2B, 2 3B, 5HR, 11 RBI, 4 Walks, only 12 K's, BA of .309, OPS 1.065 Batting .300 or better off both lefties and righties.
