Why is it so hard to give these players cards within the power creep so they can be used all year ?

Im starting to think SDS acquired the rights so they could rebrand it The “Neglected Leagues” lol

Agree. For as great of a job as Bob and Ramone do on presenting the history of these players, the content team absolultly has fumbled, every year, how these cards are delievered.

First, on initial release, these card should be amongst the best in the game, and in my opinion, becuase of this, you should not be allowed to "skip" the segments educating you on each player. Instead, we are given low rated diamonds that no one uses. Making them the best cards in the game on release would incourage all to get these cards, and creating a team affinity with other previous NL players would drive there use through the roof.

Also, the NL player have no sory of "Team Affinity" giving you another reason not to use them.

Then, on top of al of that, there 99's come out so late in the season, and there are already better cards, that these dont get used either.

Take a look at the cards that are out there now. Other that some of the players who played in MLB, The highest rated true negro card is a 91 John Donaldson and 90 Josh Gibson, which likely havent been used in Months. The other cards have likely never been used, along with the storylines.

I dont get it. These players are among the best who ever did it, but the content team does zero to make you want to earn them and listen to their stories.

These players and the Negro leagues deserve SO much better.

@ebbets1957_MLBTS those cards are among the best when the game first comes out. The only ones better are certain live series cards and collection cards. There isn’t enough people who actually care about nl cards. Most likely people only complete the storylines to get rewards for collections and xp. Good luck forcing people to watch them storylines especially this group of adhd/adderall abusers.

i’d love some updates to them as well, a milestone Andy Cooper reliever would fun, or other ways to have them in besides the same card art.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS Thats just not completely true. They were 85's. Team affinity's were all 88's and obtainable pretty fast . There were WBC that were 87, 89 and 90's.

I mean, make them 88's too...at least they'd be worth while. And make the first collection a 90 or 91. And one of the main reason people dont use them is that they dont contribute towards a team affifity.

And the goal is to educate people about these players. If You want an 88 or 89 on Day one, I bet you'd watch the storyline

@ebbets1957_MLBTS what players were 85s? The storylines players weren’t even that low. Idk if you know what you are talking about. Not everyone plays the game for historical reasons. You shouldn’t force everyone to watch them keep that as it is and let them watch it if they want to.

Im guessing the last collection card will be a negro league card. So it probably means we get more coming before then.
