This was the worst Weekend Classic yet. I was playing on Silver II level and went 2-6, and it was infuriating. One game I played, the player bunted with his entire team to the point where I almost ran out of time in the first inning because of having to change my defense for every batter. And for some reason, no matter the player, even not very good bunters, every bunt landed where it would elude my fielders. Not sure how he did it. But it was ridiculous.
Another game, a team where every player's batting average seemed to be around .217 or lower, managed to get 8 hits in the game off a 99 Ohtani, where, magically, 7 of them were home runs. There was a stretch of a few innings where no matter where a pitch was thrown or what kind of pitch it was, it would go for a HR. Sinker outside off the plate? HR. Fastball, high and inside? HR. Splitter in the dirt? HR. Sweeper off the plate? HR. There is no way a team with that low a batting average should have been able to do that.
So I felt one game was just abusing some flaw in the gameplay I'm unaware of, and the other had to definitely be cheating based on their previous stats and what they suddenly did off a tough pitcher over the course of a couple innings.
Also, I'm so sick of playing teams that are all switch-hitters. The game should just have a rule limiting the amount of switch hitters in a given lineup to no more than 3 or 4. There isn't a single team in the history of baseball that fields 9 switch-hitters, so why should the game have it? Yeah, I know it's a game and not "real" baseball, but it does attempt to present itself as that. Besides It's just boring and tiresome to face it every game.

@b-dub_butter42_PSN sitting on 415k now I wanted to keep johan but I couldn’t knowing how much his price will drop and I don’t need him for Beltrán. I kept him for one start tho and he got the job done in game 4 probably gonna wait for prices in some cards to drop.

The second game you are referring to. That could just be rng. It happens. Sometimes the game just favors a certain team by wide margin. I hope you didnt quit. Because those games tend to flip later in the game.
Some players even with a 217 average can have very good games once in a while. Maybe he just hits good off the pitcher you were using. These are your beginner players and they do get better as they play more. Dont always assume someone is bad based on averages.

I'm not worried about different rewards.
Just wondering if I win enough will I move up and start the new Ranked season in the Silver levels?

Ok. So I now know that I cant move up. But I've won my first 3 games (only played 3 so far) and I started in the 200s.
I'm now in the 400s.
Once this WC is over; will I start the new Ranked Season in the 400s, or wherever I end up ratings wise?
