Ranked 700 stuck in bronze 1???

How is this possible? I’m ranked 700 in championship series, I haven’t played a ranked game until today for the weekend classic. The last ranked game I played was the last weekend classic, had a difficult time playing in the 800+ league so I just decided not to play to stay at 700 this weekend classic. But now I’m stuck in bronze 1 (0-399) which is all star difficulty where games are won by a coin toss.

If you don't play at all in a ranked season you get dropped down. You have to actually play to earn a rating for weekend classic.

I can’t stand playing on all star or lower difficulties. I’m in a ranked game winning 9-4 then all of a sudden the guy is playing against gets a horseshoe up his [censored] and puts up 6 runs in the 7th with bloop hits and and [censored] hits down the line. I’m hitting perfect perfects and this guy has used his entire bullpen and somehow crawled his way back into this game.

You need to play all those difficulties before you get to HOF. At 700, you'll still get some all star games. Once you get over like 750, you should be good

You also don’t change divisions once weekend classic starts. You’re locked into where you started weekend classic.

Im also a 700 rank in bronze one. But I just played a 740 ranked player on hall of fame. And got a bronze reward. I also have not played since last weekend classic. I wont play another game if this is the case this weekend classic. Oh well. Doesnt make sense if im still playing people in gold one and not getting the same rewards playing good players that are getting gold one rewards.

@Dodgers_1890_PSN yeah thats the op point. Playing in hall fame getting bronze one rewards. I for one did not know I had to play a ranked game prior to wc. It should be 5 ranked games minimum. But didn't know you had to play at least one game to get seated.
