Mookie for collections was DIRTY!

All the sudden you need ALL the egg hunt cards for the voucher. A card that hasn’t been relevant or available since April/early May. How do you get the card? Is it in packs? Is it earnable. No. You got to buy it for 300k. Brutal.
I know, I could have bought him for 30k for two months….
How was I supposed to know he would be needed for an old collection? I could have bought 10 of him. I just think this particular one is ridiculous the way they did it. Put him in a World Series or Weekend Classic rewind or something. There is no way to get him. Not right. -
He'll come down next time they offer a flash sale that has the vault pack. He's lower tier so relatively common-ish to see.

they practically telegraphed that you'd need him. if you didn't realize it, you weren't paying attention. also, you can skip two collections, so just skip that and the signature where you need Leiter. then you don't really need any Chase cards or judge or shohei. How much easier do they need to make it for you to get the collection? Like, if it gets any easier, then pretty much everyone just gets the card for owning a copy of the game and playing every once in a while - is that how it should be for the biggest reward?

It's melodramatic to complain about needing a card that you don't even need to get the collection. The constant "it's too hard!" complainers don't seem to think any reward should feel exclusive.

Yeah the prices for these cards is insane. I have enough stubs to finish but refuse to pay this much for some of these cards

Not exactly correct, you still need either Stanton (185k) or the other previous chase card that is (250k) and then still the prime previous chase card (250k) and and you would still need multiple awards cards with most going around 50-80k if you don't have LS collection then at least 1 100k+ award card. So not technically true at all. But yes it isn't suppose to be completed by 90% of the player base even the 1st week of the collection reward drop.

It's irrelevant, but just to placate you, I have Mookie, I have Beltran and I actually fall more on your side of the argument than i do OP's, but that doesn't make your hyperbole any less silly.

@Beaterrr_XBL Man I cant even finish my Cardinals collection because the top cards McGee, Simmons, Berkman, Red (100k) are f'in $300k plus, not to mention having to pay $800k for Ohtani to get Pujols.

Remember about a month ago when people moaned and complained because a miniseasons objective was dropping egg hunt packs, so they removed those packs from the list of possible rewards? Some of those packs would have dropped Mookie and lowered his price, but I guess the community knew better. You reap what you sow, guys.
