Where's the loophole you at San Diego found to allow explicit lyrics in the game? E for everyone means for EVERYONE.

I remember hearing c**k either last year or the year before. That was it for my nieces and nephews. Should have quit buying this game for myself back then too lol.
Who's gonna make a homegrown game? The bar for an MLB license is LOW.
Not gonna lie, maybe you should've not even cared about that. It's just another event in life. I used to go on Newgrounds and play edgy games and watch edgy shows like Pico's School and Madness combat. I loved watching them.
Not to be rude to literal children, but maybe don't think that one explicit lyric in a game will be a huge deal. Just turn off that song, and nothing bad will happen.
I watched movies back in the day that dropped a few f-bombs once in a while. I didn't care about that. Unless it's spammed more than some trash indie shows, it isn't a big deal.

Oh, I meant being the cool Aunt and buying them copies of the game. So, it wouldn't be one event, and it would be weird with the siblings, in-laws, etc., lol. I was alluding to the business that SDS keeps losing, but it's obvious they don't really care about that since now I would have just been the Aunt who bought them a busted crummy game in general lol. Saved me the grief lol. In the end, I won't even recommend this game to my parents to buy them when the inevitably ask the gamer of the family what's a good game for them.

Like ok...I'm a gown adult responsible for young people, and the strangers on the internet is not where I go for advice, let alone an MLB video game message board. Like, yep...it's all me. I'm a terrible Aunt, and SDS is GOD. We should go by everything SDS does. Forget the government rating OP listed in the title. If we don't like it, it's on us to mute the music. Very weird stuff.

Indicative of a sick mind lacking in all human restraint and perspective closes in on the mark. The internet started out as a tool for the Department of Defense to share information files across long distances. I know this, because I was a young officer in a flying squadron back in 1988 who logged onto a special computer to download flight technical orders to print and distribute to my fellow pilots and navigators in my squadron.
To think that it went from that niche role to what it has become today is sort of mind boggling. But, at the same time, the level of uncouthed behavior is extremely disappointing. Yes, your children in your family are your responsibility, and no one else's.

Regardless of what the most popular music is right now any company has to look at their player base and choose accordingly.
If they don't already they should check player settings, see what tracks people turn off vs leave on and choose subsequent songs accordingly. I honestly think that they think their audience is younger than it is.
As an old man in the Midwest I immediately turn off all rap and hip hop or any song that uses aggressive autotune.

I can't deny that I don't know what their decision process is or what restrictions or constraints they are working under.
But, when speaking monetarily, if we are talking budget, then I don't believe for a second that they could not find other genres just as cheaply.
What good is licensing tracks if the majority of the player base just turns them all off on day one
