Ohtani boss card craziness?

What is going on with this card? I just checked and there were 212 available at a price of 119,097. With many other multiples of 20 at other levels. Is this bots? What is this? I thought the limit was 20 - this would mean 11 different people had 20 each and listed them at some random price?

It’s just bots on the marketplace probably the same person on different accounts who then funnel all the stubs from all the marketplace accounts into their main through items like diamond bats and batskins where there is no active market

Seriously just ban the marketplace on the site and app, it's going to make people incredibly mad. That cannot be avoided, but what else is there?

@GoozeFn_PSN it’s really not a bad idea. They clearly lack the ability to oversee it properly. It’s sucks it would happen sure but it probably needs to.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS No, it’s an insanely dumb idea. So because they are incompetent and can’t fix the problem, just get rid of it? So incredibly stupid. This is why RTTS is detached from DD. This is why MTO is gone. This is why captains are worthless. This is why it’s harder and harder to make stubs. Asking SDS to give us less is as low an IQ opinion as I’ve seen and I see it regularly in this community.

@Apolloz_99_MLBTS Where have I complained about bots? I’ve always said that what people think are bots are probably mostly real people. I’d much rather deal with these problems people are talking about than not have an app to manage cards. Moving the game backwards because SDS is incompetent isn’t the answer.

I think the market is better off without the app, but I get that it hurt a subset of the population in doing so. It would make bulk flipping a pain but increase the value per flip.

Now the bots are on the Draft cards..... everything must be sell now value, can't possible sell for profit.

@samguenther1987_PSN I just can’t fathom people asking for features to be taken away rather than fixing the actual problem. It’s honestly mind boggling to me that people actually think this way. People are actively begging an incompetent developer to do less.

@Jeff7407_PSN I first noticed this a few weeks ago with the Piazza all star card. Over 1000 buy orders at just over quick sell, say 5001 or 5002. Then one day all of the orders will disappear at the same time. It happens with almost every card that has a good gap between buy and sell.

Piazza card now has over 200 buy price orders at 5499 which will cause the seller to make 0 profit. The buy price has gone up and the quantity has gone down but the pattern is the same. Hold the buy price down for a while (sometimes hours, sometimes days) and then all the low buy orders will disappear at the same time.

There was something similar on the all star judge a week ago but not to the volume of this Ohtani card. It can’t be bots buying and selling because they would be taking losses on the sale Is it bots completing the xp path and then getting Ohtani for free and trying to dump him?

Obviously they can't handle what they developed and overextended themselves not just the app but on all sorts of fronts on this game. That is what greed does. Less is sometimes more. Why do think a lot of companies thrive, ie Chick fila they do only one thing and they do it right. Less is sometimes more.
