HR and XP do not count when you quit while the ball is still in the air
-
They need to fix or check the issue where, if you hit a home run and the other player quits before the ball lands, that home run and RBI don't count toward the player's stat (pxp)and people are doing this a lot.
-
We already know this, it's been in the game for years now

This is a no-brainer. There is no excuse that the game code has failed to implement this entirely reasonable change. It doesn't matter if the opponent quits deliberately or suffered the internet loss involuntarily. The winner of the game should enjoy all the statistical achievements in the game as played.
This seems like such an easy code change as well. It forces one to conclude that SDS is largely tone deaf. It stands to reason that someone who rage quits should receive zero benefits, and for the stats to be lost by the winning player it hands to the quitter a selfish benefit, and to an honest person, it still causes him no additional harm.

Go apply to sds

How does this happen? Do they dash board or turn their system off mid ball flight to make sure someone doesnt get credit.
I wouldnt know how or think of doing this.
I can understand doing this in events if you get matched up with a 1000 rated player. Those guys need jobs.

Happens all the time. Definitely something I wish SDS would address. It’s horrible for stat and PXP missions & is probably my #1 complaint with this game tbh
-
I used to never do this, but I will absolutely use it against people playing dirty, bunt dancing, forcing me to sit through the entire intro to the game etc.

What’s insane is the game know it’s a HR, the announcers “know” it’s a HR, but for some reason it needs to go to the cut screen where it shows up in the score to count. It’s absurd. And if do many achievements in the game are dependent on counting stats, it’s infuriating SDS hasn’t fixed this after all these years.
