Equipment in DD

What is the purpose of equipment in DD? Like the “stars and stripes” fielding glove? The banana glove? Do you purchase these then random players start wearing them in game? Like bats and socks make sense because you can equip them. But WHY do we have celebrations and other items that you can’t equip? What is the purpose in collecting these? Thank you in advance.

So they will just randomly show up on your players while you are playing DD? What about the home run celebrations? I don’t play broad to the Show at all. I just play Diamond Dynasty and I don’t know why I would want the batting gloves or fielding gloves or spikes UNLESS they actually show up in the game.

Socks and Bats can be assigned to all players on your team in the team edit section, you need to do this, they don’t just show up randomly. Everything else is for Road to the Show.
