What do I mean by that? Well let’s look at the facts. Bots in the game come from Xbox users, The scripts that some Xbox users were using to not even have to play and get perfect hits every time. The DDOS attacks Xbox users. Do you see a pattern here? Market place bots. Xbox users. As far as the glitch goes that is on SDS. I actually play on both consoles I’m just stating facts here.

I’m sure this stuff would have happened on PlayStation given enough time. But I do agree I think ever since Xbox came in the picture things haven’t been the same or been good for that matter. You already broke Pandora’s box so can’t go back now but yea the show probably won’t ever be good again 😢

Legit question - how do you know it’s from Xbox? While I’m on Xbox - if that’s for sure the case, switching back to PS only would be great.

I think people can cheat on PlayStation also. Pitching Rebel played a cheater on PlayStation when the Xbox servers were down last Weekend League.

lol, all you weirdos will make great comedians the day you move out of your parents basements. Yeah, blame Xbox users who are playing the game. No PlayStation gamer has ever cheated at MLB The Show. 🙄

I do think it’s a little too broad to blame Xbox users. I believe the bots are primarily app users via emulation. Not sure how an Xbox goes about it, but I would assume it’s much harder for a PlayStation user to bot than an XBox user. Either way, I’m sure cheaters are on all systems.

Not sure if it’s easier to cheat or not or if systems matter for either, but I wouldn’t go so broad as to say it’s all XBox.

Believe the bots are coming through the app app that's where the problem lies. Neither PS5 or Xbox. Maybe it's Apple phones, lol.

Xbox may be the problem since on Xbox we can play MLB the Show on our PCs.

Guess it's time for me to repeat the truth. Gaming consoles are PC's. They use the exact same basic components as your normal desktop personal computer. The only difference is that these consoles are mass produced using precisely common components, and therefore video game studios only need to ensure their games work with one example of the console model to be 100% sure they will work with all of the same model.

The major difference being that traditional PC's use parts sourced from various vendors and therefore commonality is lacking. The makes comprehensive alpha and beta testing impossible. To assert that any gaming console is immune from the effects of malicious code is ridiculous and betrays either a lack of knowledge in the technology, or an agenda held by the person making the false assertion.
