"Pushing the Button" Breaks the Servers

I'm joking, but my point is that I am experiencing issues the second the stream begins to wrap up. Seriously, why can't you just at least make the servers functional during a content drop? I have been having issues logging into diamond dynasty for the last half hour, now. It is giving me a login error message. I just want to get one last conquest game in before I have to go to work, and the uncooperative servers are making this impossible. If I am able to get into DD, the game lags like crazy and it's frustrating to navigate through anything.
This is just sad!

yeahhh i was playing the game no problem during the stream and as soon as the "There are new items in the Show Shop" notification popped up signaling that they pushed the button, nothing is working and I can't get back in
