@Mandrykm_MLBTS i bought 5 extras of him, when he was 42ish. Let the people trying to last minute sell him, he should go up. i'm selling those 5 next friday no matter what, see what i get for a price.

I just checked. 500k people are playing regularly enough to have Carlton. 150k have Acuna

Those stats can be misleading. For example, I bought Acuna like the second day of the program. Although I guess one could argue I’m playing enough to have the stubs to buy him.

I'm new investing so ive got a dumb question. I logged in this morning and noticed that Acuna is still about the same as what I paid for him last night. Did I wait too long to cash in or has the increase just not happened yet?

    @JDHalfrack_PSN

Not really though unless I’m misunderstanding, if there’s 150k Acuna out there, purchasable or no, it means 150k people have had to complete that part of the program to even list him

Oh, that's a good point. Unless SDS also releases some into the market at program launch? I've often wondered that.

That would be incredibly lame if so - I guess the only way to check that is have someone look at the same stats Teak listed like 5 minutes after a new program drop. If there’s thousands in 5 minutes that’d be pretty telling

    It could be:

    1. Number of Acuna in circulation-this would mean how many have done the program
    2. Number of players currently holding Acuna-some have multiple
    3. Number of players that have ever touched Acuna-so if someone sold the one they earned it would be double counted

I think 1 or 2 are more likely but we dont know for sure I dont think

Regardless of which method of counting it is, I would say from engagement standpoint the program seems to have been successful. I expect we will see it again at some point, hopefully they can evolve it into an offline option as well

@LIONED-33_XBL I can confirm this, while opening a ballin I got a red diamond and the end thinking it was Ohtani, was absolutely going crazy to then pull Britton. The quest for live series continues 😢…

@JenkinMeyer_PSN Thanks a pretty big difference. Makes me think that offline players counts are much higher than I even thought they were, as I doubt most online players would skip the chance to get those cards free and also 75K in stubs and 90k XP.

I got to Acuna and then stopped. I didn't have a lot of time to play + had 0 desire to play BR or the CPU on rookie for 24 Ks.

No big deal though, still liked the program. Just wasn't super concerned about finishing it.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL Yeah, I would have likely stopped their too, but if its true that 150K have Acuna, and 500k have Carlton, that just an enormous difference of 350,000 players. I'll need to look when I get home how many got Britton.

    A few things

    1. Acuna isn't a particularly good card
    2. the 75k stubs for most people is quite time consuming, I'm sure the completion for that was less than half of Acuna. Some people may have decided to skip the entire program if they weren't going to do it all
    3. This is something some casuals (even ones who regularly play online) may be inclined to ignore and just do whatever they were going to do either way. You could complete the majority of this game's content by accident, much less so with this program

I think it was a pretty good turnout.

I'm also shocked they dropped these cards into packs right away. Did not expect this. Maybe they rethought having cards behind time limited content after the response? Or maybe this was the plan all along. I rescind much of my complaining, but I stand firm that this could have been done a lot better

I do like this style of multi tier program though in general, they did it with Witt too but that release was awkwardly timed.

@Teak2112_MLBTS it wasn’t even the cards for me it was that 75k stubs I wanted the acuna sucks tbh.
