Hard to get the online pxp when everyone quits!

Yea I agree I put up 4 runs in event and dude quit. So stupid how are we supposed to get xp. But I’m sure sds planned this and know it’s going to happen
I got mine in a 9 inning game where the guy scored all his runs with bunting and stealing. Then brought in grant Taylor. Fortunately I won anyway and got the xp I needed.
Was a reminder why I no longer care to play online anymore

Well, here's the real problem. SDS has created a game situation where something of value by their requirements can be denied by an opponent quitting the game. This not only robs the winner of the full measure of their earned success, but most critically rewards quitting.
SDS should have paid attention to their game environment and made sure this sort of warped situation was never setup in the first place. I'm sure it's been brought to their attention and they have not fixed it. So, that's a double bad on them.
In the extremely cynical world, this is competition, so if quitting actually helps someone's overall ranking, then SDS has foolishly provided an incentive for people to quit games.

And its a no-win game - some players quit, some players boost, some cheat, some set up bots, some just pull out credit card, and on and on
You cant design content anymore that truly rewards good play, hard work, and honest grinding. Its kinda impossible.

So either way, I don't consider myself much of an online player anymore but I usually win in these lower divisions so my ranking goes up quick

Looks like last time I played online before yesterday was 6/2 but looked like event. Couldn't tell you my last ranked game. I think once you get to 300 or 400 or 500 you maybe just don't drop back down when seasons reset unless you lose

I just don't see how SDS didn't see this coming. There seems to be little testing and adjusting here. And the surveys...I've filled out 3 or 4 recently that just ask what do I like about DD and what I don't. If they would have asked questions asking about the different aspects of this program, or any program they were thinking about trying, I think some of this could have been avoided.

I just played someone who used a max elevation tiny created stadium that quit in the 6th after I hit a few homers. Little does he know that if he just played in a normal ballpark he would have smoked me and all those pop ups I always hit would have been outs instead of homers.

I wish they could find out a solution for dashboarding. It’s such childish behavior.
I feel like they SHOULD be able to give you the result of what happened even if your opponent dropped their pacifier on the power button of their console as your HR was flying out.
