How about trying something out of your usual comfort zone? You might actually enjoy it. I can assure you guys that don't or especially the ones who have never played online aren't likely to immediately run into full meta God squads and certainly no cheaters at the lower levels.
However, I fully understand not wanting to play BR. The mode in itself is cool (the drafting and strategy etc) but you don't run into many cupcakes.

I am skipping out because online is full of cheaters, bots and general toxic players. Excuse me if I have free will and choose to exercise it.
I’ve played like 300 online games this year across events, ranked, WC and BR and have run into 0 cheaters or bots. That’s just a narrative the content creators are putting out there. The cheaters are all at high high ranks and SDS has been doing a good job getting rid of them.
The toxic players though, yes. You’ll certainly run into them in any online mode.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL I agree. Ive ran into one cheater all year. Not that prevalent. And the toxic players. Just laugh at them. Let them replay their home runs and bunt dance. And even they are few and far between and mostly just sore losers. I can deal with sore losers. Think of it as in game entertainment.

Ok so here is my issue with programs like this if I was still going no life at this game I could have this done in like 2 days. But since I’ve retuned to work I play maybe once twice a week. And between the toxicity of ppl leaving before balls land and people just making this program way harder then it has to be I won’t get it done. And a lot of ppl are in my boat id assume I work a very physically demanding job and by the time I’m off at 7:30 I just wanna eat shower and go to bed and worry about next days work. I could have finished this but when u play people who know what there doing by leaving before balls land and message you “lol” after the game it gets aggravating. End of day I’m in a better place now then I was when I was no lifing it I’m working I’m happier but just here to give the feedback that these programs are almost impossible with gaming community’s now a days. Cause they don’t care if they lose they just care that u aren’t getting what u need and there the reason.

been a while since I played and saw this new program today and yeah, forcing us to play online is b.s. they got me to try events this year and I'm ok with that but ranked??? no way. I don't even want to touch that mode.
as for ppl in this thread saying PLAY YOUR WAY, it's not been Play Your Way the last 3 years when this new management team took over. When Ramone was the face of the game it definitely was, but it hasn't been since these new guys took over.
Anyway, I use to play this game from release to next release but last 2 iterations I have not since CFB ususally comes out in early July. I'm planning to spend more time again this year with CFB next week and probably not be as dedicated to this game. Maybe I'll do the topps now weekly program (or whatever the new name of the program is now), but that's about it.
It was good timing by SDS to release this screw job of a program to offline players. we now all know where they're coming from and where this game is headed going forward.

@LuvMyXBOX_XBL there is really not much to exploit. Learn how to hit the inside pitches. Thats the majority of the exploiting. Spamming inside. Once you start crushing those they dont know what to do. Sit with your pci inside and remove half the plate. Only swing at inside pitches.

Since this gets repeated over and over by those that don't play online, I think its worth repeating again that this is not accurate. Its not full of cheaters, bots and toxic players at all.

It's not a threat it's a reality -- maybe HOW I stated it made it out to be more but this year SDS has done so many things to annoy it's fan base that this is just another nail in the coffin for some and maybe for some the final one.
If your a player who can accept this stuff and just smile and go -- oh well i will power through it. Then good for you but for some it's not and if SDS does not realize it then they are more gone then even I thought. I fully admit in some of my posts i get very combative not with SDS but with others but this one I have not cause if I am being honest I am at my last breaking point.
It's strange before I saw the program the thought of uninstalling the game legit crossed my mind and I was like -- naw give it a little more time. I DO love aspects of the game and I legit want this game to be good and I know they know how to do it but they just are dropping the ball this year. -- PERIOD

@JenkinMeyer_PSN That is real baseball. I play to win also but I don't use the glitched cards and don't run 9 switch hitters. Can't imagine playing like that. And I absolutely hate the Tulo playing a flawless CF BS!
P.S. I have used Grant Taylor tho. His delivery may be goofy but I've rocked him and don't think he's actually "glitched" like Hader and King who certainly are.

I guess when it's 1st and 2nd no outs and the guy rolls over a grounder to 2nd and I turn the double play thinking the play is over like in real baseball. But only to discover the player is not stopping his player at 3rd but continuing to home, I shouldn't be dumb enough to not throw home thinking I'm playing a legit baseball opponent.
Guess it's my fault for not guarding myself from this type of player. Because you know, I think I was actually playing legit baseball.
If you play like this then you're the problem and why I avoid online.

@Ch-76-1908_PSN I also do not use all switch hitters. I use the cards i am good with. Using all switch hitters is lame. Im also not that bad hitting from the same side of the plate. Have to practice.

so tell me one time in a real baseball game in the situation i just described where the batting team is dumb enough to try to go home when the first baseman has the ball???
Pretty much almost never.
Because when I play sports videogames, I want realism. When I play the CPU, I get more realism than I play a human opponent.
Glad you pointed your attitude on how you play this game because GUYS LIKE YOU is EXACTLY WHY I avoid online gaming.
