when is the shark map coming out? Ooh, I wonder who the next big collection reward is!

I get what you're trying to say, but those are annual things and have been for some time.

IMHO, what the community is more or less upset over is the fact that every "content" drop in between the big ones is the same, that's all. I look forward to the big ones like the Shark Map, or the L&F collection etc, as do many people.

I think the larger problem is that right now, the already-thin dev team is being instructed to prioritize the mobile game. Personally, I would have worried about getting your main bread winner fixed up before trying to diversify into other sects of gaming. But I'm just a lowly peon, what do I know

Not defending SDS at all but I'm not sure what they can do aside from cone up with a new mode, which they did with Diamond Quest. How many years of conquest maps and how many new names of collections can they come up with? At the end of the day it's baseball and the names, outside of rookies, aren't going to change year to year so I think its naturally going to feel stale.

This week's content drop was pretty decent as far as stuff to do but I agree with mixing up the players better than they are. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, I think going back to the old TA model that made you unlock players starting at the common and grinding stats to earn the next level up. Also make some maps that requires some creativity in line ups with rewards for using certain cards. For example a NL east map that requires using only NL East cards.

While I strongly disagree with what Ditka says from time to time, I can't understand SDS decision to have so many no sell cards behind offline modes. This year has really doubled down with trying to get everyone to play all modes, and its impacting online players heavily.

Ive played for the first time in over a month the last couple days, and I personally like the big conquest map which has decent rewards throughout. But for a lot of people its just not fun. Same goes for mini season, and if you want collections mini season is unskippable.

And while I am occasionally in the mood to play online, it goes in spurts and in just weird human nature the more I feel forced to do something, the less likely I am to do it (especially while having fun). It makes things feel like a chore, and not fun.

I think 99% of cards should be obtained by playing the modes you want to enjoy. I know some competitive people feel the need to be rewarded with exclusive cards, but all this does is cause unhappiness in the community in the long run as you can see coming to a head this year. Just embrace play your way.

People say complaints happen no matter what, and this is absolutely true, but the frustration is clearly deeper this year.

@Teak2112_MLBTS at least you agree with some things I say lol. But yes. I am literally forced to play an extreme amount of mini seasons this year, and conguest, to finish collections. They used to put way more cards into the programs. Now its play every single mode, spend stubs on 15 other cards, to finish the collections. Now on top of mini seasons I have to play a 14 game conquest and I think another conquest if I want this collection..

Maybe the free (through PSN) Soccer game?

There's always Rocket League for that LOL. I help run one of the amateur draft style leagues.
