Hours Played

How many hours played do you have on each of the MLB the Show renditions?
23 - 2,154 hours EDIT forgot to mention that I didn't even start playing until mid-May.
24 - 1,103 hours
25 - 696 hours
26 - 216 hoursDang...I never realized how much I was into '23. I'm surprised at my '25 hours because I considered it superior to '24. I'm guessing these don't include APP hours because '23 to '25 would be even higher from flipping. I'm not sure that '26 is gonna reach those '25 hours but we'll see.

I dont know if others are this way, but I regularly just leave the game on while doing lots of other things. So the hours count doesnt mean anything.

If you look at PS5, that’s true. I think if you look at your universal profile, it only counts actual activity.

2023 - 56 Days 21 Hours 49 Minutes
2024 - 28 Days 3 Hours 53 Minutes
2025 - 17 Days 0 Hours 59 Minutes
2026 - 6 Days 2 Hours 18 Minutes -
I think this sums up most of us and our experience with this game. Every year it gets worse and less engaging. Sets and seasons weren’t as big of an issue as many made them out to be. The game has still been going downhill even with them now gone. If anything eliminating them allowed SDS to double down on collections and increase stub sales.

'23 had so many players (even if there were duplicates) and captain combinations that made for unique and quirky teams. I'd spend hours just messing around with those combinations and trying things out. Gameplay felt much better too.

Yep, agreed.

Pretty sure most people stop playing as much when then age and get more responsibility in life. Could be a new job or you had a baby

...Nope. I have a sick parent so I'm home more than I'd like to be. If I didn't have to deal with that, then I'd probably work more, which would lead me to just grind for a select few cards every year and play online rated whenever I wanted to satisfy my baseball fix.

You're a good person

My in-laws live down the street - 90 and 95. They're healthy, but take up a lot of our time.

my 2023 hours are probably higher than my 2024-2026 combined at this stage.
So many cards to play with, content is light years better, gameplay is probably the peak of the ps4 games and the one negative of the season no longer applies (outside of specific TA programs).
Its just a shame there are so many unobtainable cards now.
I know people love 2021 but i find it tough to play with no miniseasons, conquest simulation that reminds me of this years menus, no DH, and weak bat sounds.
