The other online modes

The numbers seem to show that nobody plays Battle Royale (there's no reason to) and not many people heavily play Events (even though they keep giving lots of reasons to).
I've always put out that we need a Theme Team Mode where a wheel spins b4 the game - and you have to play with a random theme team (you can build them ahead, or if you dont, computer just takes your best binder cards). But, I cant see them adding another mode like this, because people dont really play the non-ranked stuff.
I despise Ranked. My least favorite mode online or offline (and in years past, I grinded it plenty). It's nine innings of lag where everyone has the same boring team. And you play at Coors.

DD is toxic. I quit. Going back to roots and playing rtts. This game mode is trash.

The worst part about ultimate team modes is the gaming companies made the standard roster online mode a joke to funnel people over to ultimate team to spend money.
Ranked Madden and MLB with live rosters used to be insanely fun 10-15 years ago.

Casual multiplayer has to be renamed. I believe the word casual makes people not want to play it, maybe change “ranked” to competitive and make input matter more there and replace the words casual multiplayer with head to head (make it more forgiving in terms of input) and make AS the highest difficulty while allowing people to choose which one to play and to pick between 6 or 9 inning games.
If people go into a game knowing it’s just for casual fun the user experience probably improves drastically

@im_aPugtato_PSN perhaps, but a casual 9-inning game is not very exciting to me. Maybe six, but I really want some interesting rules so people cant just trot the same lineup out there every game.
I dont care if it affects ranking or not - I'd actually like other modes to affect ranking. (You'd need a formula to do it though, and that would be a headache).
But, I do agree with the idea that online should be made more attractive for less-skilled players...(and offline more attractive for more skilled players)
