First weekend classic game first cheater.
-
Playing in Gold 2 division this guy was trying not to be blatant with the perfect perfects but over the entire 9 inning game he swang at only 3 pitches out of the zone, 3! And they were all down away sliders on 2 strikes.
I wanted to post the screenshot but I didn't realize the pitch analysis only saves the last 40 pitches.
It's obvious SDS isn't going to do anything about this. I won't be buying this game again. I promise SDS. Ya blew it by sitting on your hands.

-
None of the pitches that were “out of the zone” were remotely close to the zone
-
“I won’t be buying this game again” but you bought your entire team

-
You probably would’ve had a few HRs if you didn’t pick that park. Instead, you let CORBIN BURNES dot you up.
-
-
@MaxTheBunny4949_XBL I did not buy my team. You literally took multiple pitches that were 0.01mm out of the zone on 2 strikes. Try as hard as you want to seem like you're not cheating but you were.
-
@ryguy034753_XBL cry a little more. Some of us don’t swing at everything
-
This game?

Seems pretty inconspicuous to me. But I’ll also admit I’m not always sure what the cheaters look like. I don’t think this is it, though.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN like I said he was trying not to be obvious. I don't know how thr cheats work. I'm not amazing, I get to Championship series and then demoted again but I'm not terrible. I have never seen a game where someone doesn't swing at any pitches out of the zone. Even top tier players do occasionally.
-
Hard to prove bro hard to prove. When I get matched with people that don’t swing the bat I just pull the pin and start another game.
-
@platewelder_363_MLBTS ya I actually kept playing it out to get more proof. I don't think I've ever in my history had an online game where I've thrown 4 BB in a game. Guy would not swing st pitches literally 0.01 mm off the plate on 3-2 counts.
-
Here’s what I’ll say about the not swinging at strikes. For me, when they changed the strike zone a month-ish ago, I started taking a LOT of close pitches. Mainly because I was so used to them always being called balls. Now, sometimes it gets me, and I’ll take a third strike that was on the border, but overwhelmingly, my take a close pitche in my favor percentage has skyrocketed since that change.
Again, I am an off-line only player, and I’m having a conversation about an online game, so take it for what it’s worth. But, I just don’t feel that every time someone loses it’s because they are facing a cheater, and that’s what it feels like this forum is turning into.
-
@JDHalfrack_PSN yup you're probably right. Just this [censored] only seems to happen during weekend classic. Lol c rap is sensored.

Did you just create your account to defend yourself from cheating accusations?

-
@im_aPugtato_PSN he messaged me and told me he was gonna post on the forum so I decided to buy a front row ticket to watch him get flamed
-
These two actually played each other lol.
-
I just checked the game, score of 6-2, the alleged cheater struck out 11 times, walked 4 times and only had 5 hits. This does not scream cheating at all.
Sorry Ry, it appears that you took a superior team to WC than Max and lost, this is looking a lot more like a tantrum from you than anything else.
-
@im_aPugtato_PSN you realize that is my exact point. A guy with only 5 hits, 4 of them perfect HR but he doesn't swing at a single pitch out of the zone and still manages to strike out that many times. Something isn't legit here.
-
Just report him and carry on otherwise this could go on for a while.

Report through the website. I wouldn't rely on the in game report. Just google mlb the show submit ticket. Make sure to include the exact time and date of the game in question and tell them to check the API for devices. If he's legit, he has nothing to worry about. If not, he might need to find a new game. That is all we can do at this point. SDS is not going to do a ban wave on devices or it likely would've already been done.
No one should fault you for thinking this way. It is today's culture and Sony/Microsoft and the gaming companies aren't doing anything to help.

Again, I could use this device and people wouldn't have a clue. You can't go by score alone as they turn the device on and off and mix in contact swings. I have no idea if this guy is cheating, I wasn't playing or haven't seen the game play. Majority of cheaters are really good at hiding it and only turn it on when they need to. Only the true idiots score 10 runs in the first on perfects.

Wait. In your previous post you said thst SDS can check the API for the device.
Then in this one; you stated that you could use the device and nobody would know.
Which one is it?
Edit: ok. You may mean nobody without the option to check the API, like a random player, could tell.

So is this going to be a thing now everyday that we think someone is cheating when way more than likely they are not. You honestly think someone is cheating and is that bad at it that they are doing it on all-star in the weekend classic? If you look at your opponents games you will see that he has gotten pummeled a few times and lost quite a few times also.
Could it be possible that you just lost and played terribly? I mean it’s not a big deal if you are not the greatest at the game. I blew [censored] for a few years.
