New l&f coming
-
They already leaked the new legend and flashback player. Its joe Mauer. Not very exciting.
-
I'm good at catcher (Posada is a beast) I also have Piazza, Victor Martinez and Josh Gibson as backup.
but only 2 sets away from 99 Cabrera, have to get the All.Star and Egg sets done, but i'm focusing on the Spotlight cards now, want that Chipper and Tatis.

I'm two sets away as well (St. Pat's and Eggs). I finally got the Chipper card. Miggy can wait for me as I struggle with his cards. Mauer? Not sure. I looked up my stats with his 89 card. I have 45 AB's, batting .375 with 0 HR's (all offline).

@go4stros25_PSN I only flip. Bronze not lots of comp.
-
I think the only "flipping" that should be allowed is making good guesses about what the market will do - human guesses, not some silly algorithm that guarantees you 10 stub profit everytime you flip a glove.
You can tell most people are terrible about this - Posada was still valued at 70k one week ago. Three days before he was guaranteed to drop to 14k (because he's in rewind packs). Its crazy that people dont anticipate better with this stuff.
There's a lot of stubs to be gained if you just pay attention on buying low and selling high

Why is it silly? Thats exactly what I do. Put in the max number of buy orders for jerseys, silver players, bronze players, stadium sounds, ect.. and and then a day later put them all for sale. Its time consuming but its a good 25-50% profit almost every year.
-
@go4stros25_PSN if you like to do it and it makes money, Im not blaming you...more power to you.
But, I'd rather this kinda flipping wasn't possible. There's no risk in it - its just an algorithm you run for guaranteed profit. That just drives up stubs and inflation.
So yeah, not knocking you - if its available, good on you for doing it.

I’ve been running a lot of dq today I’m kinda torn I’m at 200k, idrk if I should buy the new leiter card. his 88 still absolutely shoves for me so I can’t even imagine the 97. or should I start buying off some cards for Mauer coming Friday.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN im surprised he's down to 208k honestly - he's probably gonna be pitching in October for most good players
I also probably will really want the next chase which will be Lance Berkman - that corner outfield spot needs a lock down guy
-
@rubicante23_PSN I am like 7 k away from leiter I just rly don’t know if I want him or to try and get Mauer Friday. The 88 is still lights out for me had like a 18k game before weekend classic idk if it’s worth the upgrade right at the moment also the 88 actually had better h/9 vs rights.

Guys, Joe Mauer doesn’t match the hint (.409 OBP)…at least not cleanly
-
Is it gonna be Votto?
He matches the hint, his career OBP is .409
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN 2006 second half hero fits.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN imma go check that - ah okay confirmed lol my bad guys
-
@On_a_Power_Trip_PSN I mean, every other player in that leak is right on...so yeah. Is Buster Posey not in game like we thought? - he feels like a better choice here, but meh
-
There’s no content coming so there’s no chance to get where I need to be.
-
Its Joey Votto
-
Victor Martinez fits as well I believe
-
@Misterwolf80_MLBTS if it’s votto as a Canadian he’s a must. When I was a kid he was “the guy” for baseball Canada.
-
Mauer had a .409 OBP 2nd half of 2006
