Fight against sds #boycott26tillitsfixed
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS Again, how does boycotting now hurt them?
There's got to be some licenses and rev sharing deals with multiple entities in place that will be up for renegotiation in the near future. Less active players and putting the spotlight on a significant glitch that probably resulted in a significant loss of their chunk of the revenue will affect those negotiations. Plus, what better time than now when the MLB and MLBPA are negotiating their new CBA?

@LorangeJuice_MLBTS and like I said the community is fractured. You can’t even get everyone to agree on anything in here. These forums only contain a sliver of the community. Not to mention every little inconvenience is brought up. Yall want SDS to listen but yall can’t even organize.

Which is very true, but we still act like the community didn't also ruin the game.

Exactly what needs to happen!! If the community comes together as a whole to fight against sds then things will get done. This isn’t anything super serious but at the same time we are getting screwed out of money, and time. It’s one thing to have communication with your community and at least talk to us. It’s another thing to blatantly ignore us but then go and fix a glitch in hours because it affects your bottom line. It just proves they can fix things fast they just get to choose what they want to fix and ignore us. But if you curse on this forum or say something bad about them they will see it and punish you for that. They have their own agenda and are a bunch of losers. This company is full of simps and losers and deserves all the criticism. Not one person has addressed any issues we have been complaining about since launch. They have the audacity to do live streams and pretend like nothing is wrong. Tell that ginger fu** to shut up and fix the game. I feel like all the guys in the office just drool over her anyways!!! Let’s see if this gets flagged and taken down now

@Player99_MLBTS oh I know the community is a part of the problem. Between the toxic people, the non-stop complainers, the people who dgaf, and bots. It will be near impossible.

Which is also the case for MANY games.

@Player99_MLBTS @apolloz_99_mlbts why are you talking to yourself

@Player99_MLBTS @apolloz_99_mlbts why are you talking to yourself
Did it look like I was doing exactly that? If so, then no, we were having a conversation.
-
@Player99_MLBTS
it looked exactly like that -
@Nickc22_MLBTS What exactly is the supply you’re referring to? We’ve all already bought the game. I doubt stub sales are significant at this point in the year. So, I’ll ask for the third time. How exactly is boycotting this years game hurting them?

It 100% looked like you were talking to yourself.

You’ll be asking a fourth time as well because it’s so dumb it doesn’t need a response.
-
@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS so youre just gonna hop from post to post trolling people on this topic. Is that what your day consists of?
-
I’m assuming you can’t read well or your part of sds and choose to ignore what you want. I specifically said you have to make a statement now to show and prove we are willing to give this game up and not play it in order for them to fix it. If we can prove we are willing to put this game down because they refuse to fix it then they will have to make changes otherwise they will loose us and we won’t buy next years game. I understand we bought this years game and can’t change sales much but we can make a statement and prove to them that we won’t settle for this [censored] and are willing to quit playing and force their hand. Sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war and just depends on how many people are really fed up with this game or are just wanting to say stuff without being part of the change!!! Do you understand that logic yet or is it still to convoluted for you?
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS if we wait till 27 they aren’t gonna change anything is basically what ur saying so start now so we get the changes we want before next year am I understanding this right ??
-
I answered the first time but instead of reading the whole post he picked what he wanted to hear and ignored the rest. I’m assuming he’s part of sds since he ignores specific things.
-
That’s exactly what I’m saying, we have to start now and show them we can easily give up on them and just stop playing. Yea we’ve spent the money already but once the data comes in and mlb sees that people aren’t playing this game it can possibly affect contracts and shows that the community is fed up with what’s being put out. It makes the brand look bad and it forces sds’s hand
-
@mhenry23_PSN that’s just my gamertag . It was my psn but now I’m on switch.
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS Yes, I’m a part of SDS which is why I’m suggesting to boycott 27, you know the game we haven’t already paid for. Brilliant observation. My reading comprehension is just fine. How about yours? You can’t seem to answer some pretty direct questions. What supply and demand are you talking about? You don’t seem to understand your own analogy. They don’t care if we play this year. They already have our money. This statement you seem to think it would make does absolutely nothing. People continuing to play throughout the year doesn’t affect contracts. What in the world are you talking about? The only thing that matters is their profit. I’m going to continue playing the game I already paid for until GTA 6 comes out and I’m not buying next year.

I imagine there are two things that developers/suits care about: player retention and sales.
The game has sold very well so that's one less thing to worry about, it always sells well. For mid-year sales (the micro transactions), I just cannot imagine people have been spending stubs to buy players right now when we know 99s are six weeks away. They are only going to get more aggressive with their mid-year strategies (stub sales for $, flash sales, FOMO) in order to try to get people to spend $. I can't imagine people are going to bite though.
As for player retention it obviously goes down as the year goes on, no shame in that. However with the introduction of the repeatable grindable mini seasons, I imagine their player retention has skyrocketed because of how easy it was to get packs from completing the WBC Mini Season. They care about how much people are playing their game, that looks good on reports. Average play time, amount of hours played, stuff like that.
UNTIL people A) stop buying the game at all or B) stop spending real money on diamond dynasty, we won't see any meaningful changes. Again they only care about sales and player retention.
I worry about what the ASG collection is going to cost.
