How are you doing with the XP Reward Path?
-
@Pergo_MLBTS thats just another excuse for the offline players, not to go online. They want to make dd into an offline mode. Not happening. They have already taken away a huge amount of the online experience from us because of these wimps. That are too scared to try and get better. Lets play mini seasons over and over and over type of guys.
-
The XP path is pretty easy. Been done for over a week.
-
People have finished the inning path using offline play. But it requires more time as you chose this path that gives out less xp most of the time. But this inning was the easiest inning have released. If you can’t make this one you might just wanna change the way you play or deal with missing out. But they will probably just complain in the comments.
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS exactly, they love playing mini seasons 6 hours a day. I would lose my mind. Offline play feels more like a job. I dont get it. So thats kind of what you get.
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL idk how they can. It also shouldn’t be that big of deal to have to play online/offline just for a little bit of time. If you really wanted the card/xp progress you would do the work required. I get sds lied to them but failing to adapt will cost you.
-
Dd is a card collecting mode mainly to bring those cards into online play. If you are unwilling to play online you really cannot complain about the inning path. I would even go as far as to say dd is an online mode first. If anything they have catered to offline mode players more the past two years.
Well, respectfully, if online play wasn't a toxic cesspool mess, with the cheating, servers, toxic players and everything else that has been mentioned in previous threads I would 100% agree with you but because of all those aforementioned issues I 100% disagree with you.
Those things are way overblown on here though. I've played a good amount of online and have never run in to any cheaters, had any server issues or run in to any toxic players. I'm not saying those things don't exist, but the chances of running in to them aren't as high as this forum would make you believe. People don't come to the forum to post about how normal their games are, so you are bound to see more talk about the other stuff.
I kinda get what you are saying but it takes one time to run into a cheat and once you do I assume something shifts. I haven't run into a cheat the handful of times I have played online but putting myself in the shoes of someone that has I would think their view of the game would become different. Now, I have ran into toxic players, that is the single biggest reason I very rarely play online. Their servers are trash, online and offline that's just blatantly obvious. Just have to deal with the servers if you want to play this game. You don't have to deal with cheats, you don't have to deal with toxic players, that's why offline DD is so vital and why people like myself defend it to the hilt.

@DrBear100_PSN people just tend to overblow everything. You would think everytime you load into an online game it’s nothing but bunt dancing and pausing every two seconds. Sds put themselves in impossible position telling people to play their way. The either need a separate offline and online missions. I mean 10 of the 15 xp path missions are still for offline modes. But there are still complaints. It really should be a big deal to have to play a different mode for short allotted time.
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS I do think its over blown as well. The majority of them just dont want to play online. So dont ruin it for the rest of us that do play online. We all run into the toxic players from time to time. Id rather that then play mini season over and over geesh. Its just weak im sorry. If you need to sit there and play the computer over and over again. Go play chess or something. I really dont care who blocks me or thinks im a [censored] for saying this. Us online players should be the people complaining about how much offline grinds they make us do at this point.

I've got no problem with offline options being available. I play and enjoy both offline and online. The toxic players part just isn't nearly as prevelant as people claim in my opinion. Sure I've seen a few here and there, but I either just enjoy beating them or if its real annoying I just quit and move on the next game. Not worth letting it ruin the whole mode for me. If people only want to play offline that's totally fine, up until a few years ago I was one of those people. But then I also just understood that if there were certain game modes I was unwilling to play then I had to accept that there were certain cards/rewards I may never get. I don't think its that unreasonable.

Im right around 350k. And I basically didnt even play at all last week. I think still have 15k in multi-player program to get, so I should get the boss pack rather easily and maybe a wheel spin or 2.

I do agree with you on that. If I want the cards I would have to spend the stubs if not play online or go without. I play with that in mind. Will try online again probably but I can only take it in short bursts.

298k did every offline program, finished grinding out the rest of the Jolts (lots of TB tracking), went through the Mural mini-seasons twice, finished all the Storylines, finally finished enough collections to get 95 Miggy, played a bunch of RTTS. I don't know how so many people are farther along, as I'm just bored with the game now. I'm just resigned to the fact Inning Bosses and Judge/Ohtani will be out of my reach this year.
-
@Precisionist99_XBL you are still pretty close to probably getting the boss. Did you do any of the online? There is like 60k in the multiplayer wheel. And it would get you extra with the drop missions they have.

I was at 200-225 k by the time may spotlight 2 came out, made it to 295 finishing spotlight 3, been there since.could be well over 400 by now but my interest is gone, will finish the inning and maybe get a couple of spins but the interest (like last year)is just gone.
