Literally dude just swung at everything and somehow it worked. Changeup in the dirt? Home run. Sinker in the other batters box? Home run. Sinker a foot inside? 75 mph exit velocity for a single. He had multiple of those jams hit hits. half his lineup was 99 speed so those singles turned into easy doubles and triples because stealing is broken.

For me, I grounded into I think 4 perfect perfect double plays. I had 13 hits only two runs because all my good swings were either outs or singles.
This is why nobody takes this game seriously

I just lost to a guy who didn't swung at a single pitch, I walked and hit one too many batters and threw one too many wild pitches and my catcher might have great pop time but he passes balls like he got IBS or something and now I'm worried I take this game too super serial serious.

It's why I stopped playing all sports games online, especially MLB the Show. The actual sport goes out the window. Patience at the plate, swing timing, and aiming are not rewarded. 1. Connection is king. Not the cards you have, not how good you are but who's connection to the internet and server connection is better is 90% gonna win. 2. RNG is next. I'm not even going to give examples because we all know. Online is a scam, an illusion, but they sell it well and they've totally said FU to us offline gamers this year.

I quit a game the other night 3 outs away from a win. Dude started the steal cheese on me. Purposely getting into a rundown so the runner on third could score. Was still up 1 when I pulled the pin.

@Nate_7_Dog_PSN Just looked at your game log. Looked at both your online games today and there weren’t any perfect perfect outs, so you certainly didn’t ground into 4 perfect perfect double plays. If the guy was swinging at everything, why did you only strike him out 2 or 3 times depending on which game you’re talking about?

Steal cheese guy is hilarious, because he always immediately quits when you properly cancel your throw and tag him out. That said, sds should make steal cheesing a little harder - because you have to be pretty precise with cancels

You didnt ground into any perfect perfect double plays, because there wasn't a single out made on a perfect perfect in your game.

This game is catered to casuals. Every year it gets worse. That’s why there’s such an imbalance with good inputs resulting in outs and bad inputs resulting in success, or at least, not outs. Explains why there’s an excessive amount of foul balls as well.
