Used to look forward to the new xp path or new inning or whatever they call it but now it is the time i play the game the least. They do not put out any new programs with the new innings besides the very simple cornerstone and the mandatory once a week spotlight program. They give us one new conquest and i guess that is a little something to do but besides that you basically have to play the weekend classic (which is ok but not that exciting) or pay to enter BR. Im not good enough to go flawless or even get to 10 wins in BR so im not paying an entry free for it. They dont have events running for an entire week for some reason. We ask for more ways to play online like a salary cap mode and instead they very frequently take away an online mode they have( events). I just dont understand it. Anyways just was thinking about how it used to be like a kind of holiday for new xp path (new inning) but now its like a vacation from the game. Guess i could go complete mini seasons for the 30th time. Anyways feel free to make fun of my thoughts im going to go hangout with my mom at least she loves me, i think.

This is what Ive been saying since since inning 2 last year.

This version of innings is a massive downgrade from what we had with seasons.

Salary cap mode would get me to play online more, provided its matchmaking was similar to ranked.

Seasons should have been kept with collections and all where u don’t need certain card sets

It could have been fixed by just not saying only that reasons players

Go back to the 21 model. It was simple. Need to stop overthinking all of this

Add in that it used to be 3 Cornerstone players to go for.
I don't think you want a Salary Cap mode, because in NHL, it's been a nightmare, as we entered Season 5 the same day of the 3rd inning here. I was so disappointed that I looked around the path, then went back to NHL.
They did just release 97 overall captains that contribute 50 million to your squad's cap, but it's been a struggle all year. Maybe it could be done differently, and better in MLB ironically, since the real life sport doesn’t have one!

NHL's cap is convoluted and applies to almost everything in the game, even the offline stuff.
Which doesnt mesh well with the main gameplay loop being designed around swapping in program cards to get stats.

The flip side is its actually a way of doing what The Show tried to do with the expiring cards without actually having expiring cards.

Also the NHL UI makes The Show look smooth.

I look forward to people using paragraphs; instead of pasting a wall of text.

This year’s game is already dead in the water. Once they announced no more TA after Jolt, I really tried to keep an open mind that they would have something big to replace it. So far, Content has been atrocious.

I will say, they made some adjustments to season 3 XP. They eliminated 100k and there has been a lot more available at the drop. They must have seen how many people failed to finish or they read the complaints. Hopefully they read all of complaints about the lack of content. I really want to play this game and enjoy it.

@Ericulous1_XBL I’ll admit it’s better, but programs are so easy everything they drop can be done in a few hours. Even with the increased content it feels like there’s nothing to do besides mini seasons on repeat. We really need TA throughout the year.

The second half of this is false. XP is near identical between inning 2 and 3 so far. Cornerstone is the same, spotlight is the same. XP missions are less but there is a conquest to make up the difference. Excluding the online mission its 54K. Most people got a bonus 20k from carrying over Witt's mission.

An extra 7500 for the online mission, and 30k if you want to spend 60-120K

This was all true last inning, minus Witt. It fell off a cliff after other than multiplayer/events

But all this out of 400K is obviously better than out of 500K

@GoozeFn_PSN if you work on the #1 fan stuff in TA you’ll get plenty of packs. It’s a grind for all 30 teams

@ELDON179X_PSN Yeah I’ve finished a few. The HR are the big one. This with mini seasons is the play for packs.
