    Never buy packs. Save your stubs up. I like to do silver to gold exchange

    @Thongypu_PSN

    Thank you.

    The idea is that people pay premiums because they need to complete collections but can no longer get these bosses by grinding?

    @mallomardestroyr_psn

    Thank you.

    So the math shakes out that you get more from the gold than the, whatever, 5 silvers you needed for the gold?

    NEVER BUY PACKS. Save your stubs and buy direct cards. You get enough free packs to sell or “get lucky”. Don’t buy the packs. Buy the cards.

    Yes, the average per exchange pack is around 720 stubs, while you can make them for around 620

    @g0ne2pla1d_PSN grind mini seasons or diamond quest over and over. I've done like 50+ mini seasons and just finished live series. You have to auction all your cards for 1 stub less, no quick sell (unless it's already at minimum).

    @g0ne2pla1d_PSN This isn’t going to help you this year, but always buy the most expensive guys first. They get more expensive over time while everyone else gets cheaper. I bought Ohtani for 530k and Judge for 350. Don’t even think about collections until you have everyone 90+. It’s a slow start, but it snow balls from there and you finish faster. You also get the benefit of getting these cards while they are usable.

    Was that you that said this before the game launched? If so, thank you very much.
    I took exactly this approach, flipped my fingers off to do it but had Ohtani 6 days after early access start and judge 5 days after that( for similar prices)and the collection was much easier after that.

    I would buy a pack whenever I saved 1500 stubs and hope for the best.

    This is the way. Miniseasons is the best grindable content right now (maybe ever, honestly).

    The only thing I would say is be careful selling for one stub less. You pay 10% tax on anything that you put on the market, but if you quick sell you don’t pay tax. So, if the minimum is 3000, but someone is selling it for 3200, don’t sell yours for 3199. Just quick sell it. You’re costing yourself an extra 200 stubs otherwise.

    This probably really only applies for diamonds and gold. The thought process to try to figure it out isn’t probably worth it for silver and bronze cards.

    @PAinPA_PSN Yeah probably. I’ve been telling people to do this for years, but few listen. Glad I could help. You save a ton of stubs and finish a lot faster.
