Nintendo hit problème

So hitting on Nintendo is broken AGAIN. They fixed it in update 7, and now update 8 brought the issue right back. At this point, do they actually plan on giving us a permanent fix, or is this just going to be a recurring problem all year long? Kind of hard to enjoy the game when you can't trust a basic mechanic to stay consistent update after update.

I’m also on the switch. Hitting went somewhat back to normal for me after update 7. If you’re right, then that’s disappointing (and ominous) since I wasn’t going to get back into it much until inning 3 starts. Got Bobby doerr and paused progress until it matters again. -
