So many home runs
-
I regularly see online games that are 15-10 and every run is scored by home run. Can we get any doubles or triples in this game, please? Some action on the old basepaths?

Best we can do is 10 foul pop outs per game.
I was just being sarcastic you have to remember were basically playing an all star game, every player has crazy stats. And most people choose custom stadiums or coors field which doesn't help. The other day this guy I was playing hit a 75mph pop fly HR at colors field with Pujols. 75mph home run, that's wild.
I googled to see what the actual slowest ever HR was and it was 85mph by Harold Ramirez. I doubt 75 is even realistically possible. -
Game has been like that forever. No hit variety. It’s pop out or homer.

Well when you have the majority of the people playing in hitters parks and created stadiums with 250 foot fences what do you expect? Play in regular size stadiums with average elevation and we would have it. In the end people want the home runs.

@virusts_PSN this definitely is the answer I’ve been doing a “tour” of just choosing a random park everytime I get on and am having a lot more success/fun. Yesterday I ran my games at petco today ran at the minor league stadium red rock. Both played amazing.

I think this is definitely a big part of it. People want to play in these stadiums because they want to hit a lot of home runs, but then get mad when their opponent hits them to.

Thirty years later and chicks still love the long ball.

Even at a normal ballpark, the percentage of runs scored by homer is insane. If you wanna say that's because DD is all diamonds, and the game is meant to be played more with silvers and golds, that's not unreasonable. But, then they need to nerf the homer rate just in DD play - cause this is kinda supposed to be a realistic game...at least aiming for somewhere in the ballpark of realism

One: power ratings are too high
Two: It's hard to string hits together due to amount of good/perfect outs interrupting things, outfields playing so small, OFs all having 90+ spd, etc.

I hate max elevation shoeboxes with a passion, I play at a custom stadium to make sure I play some games away from Coors with balanced elevation and regular sized fences.
