As an offline player, I get the hint

@GoozeFn_PSN ok maybe saying weaker mind set isn't the best choice of words. I apologize for that to the group.

Finally a concession that you were being a douche.
-
@DrBear100_PSN keep name calling. Dont worry ill just report you. I was man enough to apologize. And you want to keep calling me that? Internet tough guy. Derogatory language like that will not be tolerated. Big difference between a word like weak mind set, that i even apologized for and calling someone a douche over and over again. Enjoy your suspension. You have been flagged. And whoever liked his comment. Remove it. Or you will also get flagged next, fair warning.

Everyone knows this generation is soft

As for the "this is an online mode" nonsense
Replacing online/offline with PvP/PvE as thats essentially waht it is and avoids the semantics of 'you need to be online to play the mode'...
That is the equivalent of saying WoW is a PvP game.
I would bet at WoW's launch a majority of people engaged in PvP activities. Either on PvP servers, or Hillsbrad vs Tarren Mill, or in BGs. Over the years people have migrated away from PvP and its become more of a niche thing. Still played by a lot of people though likely not a majority, but Blizzard embraced their core players and the game is very clearly a PvE focused game. The MMORPGs that try to be PvP first tend to fail, with the exception of EvE Online
The UT genre in general is moving more towards PvE. PvP will always be around because its easier to monetize, but even genres like gacha have started to move away from PvP and the heavy hitters are all exclusively PvE and have reached significantly larger audiences by doing so (granted they are able to monetize anime boobs, I don't think many of us would be paying for swimsuit Babe Ruth..unless they make him a switch hitter)

While I get that some people dont want to play online, and thats fine, DD is an online focused mode. If you dont play online you should be giving up a lot of rewards, which is the incentive to play online. Also, if you think playing against the computer is "more real" than playing a real person, you are not paying attention. If I can throw fastball up then silder away every single time and strike out 90% of the batters, then that is not more real than having to actually think about what to throw against a human player
-
@TheRupster12_XBL they dont get it bro. They are happy playing vs the cpu. Fast balls high sliders away, strike out the cpu everytime. How is that satisfying? To each their own. Definitely should get less rewards.
-
DD is an online focused mode.
If SDS agrees with you they are going to lose a huge chuck of their player base.
-
@TripleH-4481_PSN Entitled to my opinion..its not a preference, its because you think you are not good at the game and would rather play vs a cpu. You are all better than you think.
Not me.
I stink worse than last weeks garbage.But that's ok, I still have shttonne of fun. I could easily blame my terrible vision (See Paterno coke bottle thick eyeglasses) and my old man trembling hands. But lifes too short to find excuses so I'll stick to finding fun.

@Ditka06_MLBTS
Earlier you said “you do you.” Why can’t you just leave it at that. -
Look into new DRM policy by Sony everybody. It’s really messed up and might not affect DD players but someone that plays franchise without internet connection that buys the Show or any other game digitally after End of March is required to get online every thirty days for verification for a game you paid for! And being your primary system doesn’t override!
This means absolutely nothing. All you have to do is restore the license in your PS5 settings. Its not like you lose access to the game completely if you're not online for 30 days and have to re-buy it. It takes like 10 seconds to restore licenses.

typical of his soft [censored] generation. don't like what someone thinks/types?? got to cry to mommy and report them for being a meanie! boo hoo...

@LuvMyXBOX_XBL I said a generation was soft. Or implied weak minded for not wanting to play online. I was not name calling anyone in particular using derogatory words. Learn the difference. Unless weak minded is considered derogatory now.. Learn how to have a conversation without getting [censored] hurt and resorting to name calling and using words like that. Now go away, go play the cpu now. Dont forget to bring your high fastballs and sliders to strike out the cpu everytime lol

I'm seeing a lot of posts in here arguing about this. As someone who has played this game annually I can say the offline content is less this year. It's definitely shorter and faster to complete which really gives the feel of nothing to do. People accusing others of being addicted or stupid, who are you to tell anyone what they enjoy. I like playing the game in general have something to grind towards makes it more fun. I'd be curious to know who spends more money on stubs the offline or online player. Seeing how the game prioritizes online play could be a hint but I have no idea.

@DrBear100_PSN
now thats funny. I think alot of us do at this point. -
I have always tried to played both against the CPU and other players in DD. I have never been a fan of ranked or BR but I did like to play events. The way they structured events this year, I haven't played a single game online. I typically don't have much time to play Friday-Sunday evening because I am typically not home. The times I do have to play I do mini seasons or conquest stuff. Them not letting events run all week has kept me from playing online and just doing CPU based games and even playing a couple days a week in the evenings I am running out of stuff to do. So really poor decision making on content and how its handled this year.
