Switch 2 No Hit Timing Indicator

I'm playing RTTS on the switch 2, and I can never see the hit timing feedback on the bottom left when a hit goes into play. I'm only seeing it before the next pitch after the ball goes foul or if I miss the swing. I see people playing on the PlayStation, and they get the hit timing feedback right after the hit even if it's in-play. I've submitted a bug report, but there's no way to track submitted bug reports.
