Update Flashback Card

Anyone else annoyed that specifically the new ROY Jacob deGrom card is off? His mechanics look funky and not accurate. I understand mechanics change over time, but these just look the generic windup. Also I have to protest the usage of branded equipment. Having deGrom with the generic cleats just seems wrong. They should have added Nike cleats on him. Just saying….

I don’t have him yet but a creator I watch sometimes (KevinGohD) had a similar complaint about his windup looking generic. Take that for what you will.

I mean they could also give him a black Nike glove and hey maybe even slap an orange swoosh on there to fit the card art. But no a tan (open web) which Degrom never used and pitchers rarely do.

I get that but the mechanics “in game” are so off it doesn’t even look like him.

@TheRupster12_XBL forgot about that. anyone who remembers him from MLB The Show 14, are his mechanics accurate (ie do we need to shut up about it)?

Heres a video of DeGrom from 2014, I havent seen the delivery from in game, so I cant say if they messed it up, but his delivery looks noticeably different than 2026
