@kadylac1_PSN it would take something along those lines probably a flash sale. but I rly doubt there goal is to make the prices of these cards lower with the new things added this year and how the year has gone so far.

The market usually takes a dip during WC and then rebounds right after. That was the trend last year and it has held true this year. Human behavior is my only explanation, I haven’t bothered to figure out why, I just always plan to buy the dip.

I was gonna post on here to complain about the market dip the other day haha

The main issue I see is that people are making stubs and with some of the live series cards basically out of reach for most people. Those stubs are going to non LS diamonds that people want to play with or preping for the big collection. This year has been weird. I feel like Im ahead of where I usually am at this time, while at the same time so far behind. I need three cards to finish LS. Judge, JRam and Skubal. That is over 700k for three cards! Ive been cleaning out the binder but to put it in perspective, this is the equivilent of selling 14,000 bronze cards or quick selling 1750 gold 80 ovrs!

Gameplay I feel is better than last year but I can't help feel like there was a tradeoff for better gameplay. I have opened almost a 100 Ballin packs and just golds, which I am not complaining about because I can liquidate them for stubs but no diamonds? I feel that with just the pack odds alone is putting pressure on me a NMS guy to open up my wallet to accomplish my goals in this game which was far easier to accomplish my goals last year being NMS. I don't want to believe this but I can't help feel as there is inside manipulation in the market to keep prices on almost everything but gatekeepers down. I think to frustrate the NMS guys to purchase stubs. Question for SDS, why would I want to purchase stubs if pack odds are this tight also if I pull a low teir or mid teir diamond I automatically lose since the sell now are effectively worthless. This game has gotten IMHO markedly more expensive to play than last year. I feel like I am playing at a loss most of the time. I would think SDS will have to loosen up on the packs here real soon because once we get into the mid summer lull of baseball and this is continuing thing I believe people are going to start abandoning this game and a fair share of them for good. Sad situation but with the real world economy and uncertainty I think SDS is digging themselves a grave that I am afraid they won't dig themselves out of.

On a side.note Sony IMHO bad idea trying to.rush the PS6 out especially with a close to $1000 price point. I think the PS5 should have another 2-3 years before the next gen console because of how slow of a start the PS5 had. I think people will balk hard on the PS6 and possibly gobble the PS5 pros up instead or stay with PS5 like everyone did with the PS4s. Just my opinion for what it is worth.

A flash sale doesnt really lower prices for very long. It will lower when a sale is announced and during the sale but then prices tend to rebound pretty quickly there after.
