Live Series or Collections?

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah me as well I’m skipping wbc anyway I have almost every other card in the game we will need. Hope we don’t need egg hunt or st pattys tho or im screwed. I even have milestone cards and awards pretty much done standout too and am ready for the 24th.

I am also build up on standout and I feel the program coming next week is gonna be last ride we got it last yeah we got it right before collection. But for that I bought chipper already. I’m only 1-2 cards off every series except wbc I’m 22 off.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I think they will all be part of the big collection. I’m preparing to have enough for all of them just in case.

I am surprised we have not gotten a pipeline program yet, future stars which became mlb pipeline was always a big part of early content.i had figured with what they did in inning 1 that they were saving it for inning 2 .....

Pipeline series/program/event/collection isn’t coming back, I don’t think. seems like they folded it into spring breakout since that series got bigger this year.

First year not doing live collection unless I pull shohei or judge.
I'm buying cards I want to use and then investing in the spotlight cards assuming we may get something on par with Carlos Santana from last year.
I'm just using all my favorite swings

I am thinking about abandoning my goal to do LS collection. I played with Tulo's gold card to see if I like his swing to see if he's worth the grind, I am really not to crazy about him. The only live series card I want is the Pujols, I enjoyed his swing. I may just go after him and stop there and just collect my favorite cards I like playing with.

I've been fortunate enough to get all the others done, but won't be bothering with WBC.
I'm 30 cards shy and it's just far too expensive.

I only have 3 teams collected. Outside of a couple of crazy pulls coming my way I'm not going to get LS done either it seem this year, which really sucks.
I've done some investing in a few cards though so the next attribute update maybe I'll earn enough to at least nudge me forward a bit. No chance it's enough to complete everything though. -
@NotesOfJohn_PSN None of this stuff is time sensitive. Go for the one that gets you the card or cards you want the soonest.

Holding off on live series as well. I put 80k to get Jackie. He is better than all live series collections besides the big three

I'll get live series done at some point in the season, but I'm abandoning it for now. Hopefully I might pull Ohtani or Judge sometime but if not, it'll just take longer. Honestly don't really care about Pujols or Hernandez, and while I'm sure Tulowitski is good, I'm thinking there will be several other shortstops I like better.

Yeah live series is a huge rip off with the inflated stub prices and crazy low pull rates. Much better value collecting non live series cards towards collections as they are starting to surpass most live series diamonds at this point.
Compared to previous years, especially last year, the live series collection rewards are subpar so much better off passively completing live series at this point.
I’m having more fun completely avoiding live series and focusing on other legends and flashbacks. Haven’t made any progress towards the 13 remaining live series diamonds in weeks.
Gotta think many players are in the same boat at this point and they are giving up on live series for the foreseeable future.

I'm abandoning the LS collection. For me it's the pull rates that's are causing me to hang it up. They are abysmal. I would think about putting some skin in this game and purchase some stubs to get 50 pack bundles but then again why would I do that if pull rates were better, sure as heck not going to buy squat to waste my money on commons, bronze and silvers. IMHO, it's getting excruciatingly expensive for NMS guys. Not in terms of money but in terms of time. It's trying frustrate NMS people to spend money to save time. I'm probably wrong in thinking this, I really think SDS can careless whether anyone plays online or offline as long as they playing being forced to pay real world money.

I’m fine with online and higher difficulty being rewarded better or more quickly but this year feels like they are giving the middle finger to offline players that play on lower difficulty.
Between the snails pace xp, the lack of offline content, the cpu super dotting and swan dives, and absolutely horrid packs it truly stinks.
I play this game for my baseball fix but it’s really not rewarding or fun and feels more and more like a time and money sink. If it was more rewarding for time invested that would change but feel like it’s been in a steady decline for years and this year might be the worst if things don’t change soon.

I'm fine with whatever they want to do with online play but it's autrious. I tried a couple event games to try for Biz Mackey. I lost both of them by one run each. First game my opponent hit a solo homer on a slider down and away at least two or three feet out of the strike zone. The second hit a 112 exit velo shot in the gap on sinker in the dirt.
In saying all of that, I have a extremely fast paced high stress job so between lifting weights and playing this game because I love baseball it gives me a good avenue to relieve stress. So, with offline DD being as it is this year excruciatingly stale and a time sink and online being autrious, lifting is about all I have because I ain't getting it from this game. It's become obnoxiously frustrating. I've been playing a couple days taking a couple days off.
