I'm trying to remember how collections have gone in years past. Are we sure that Maikel Garcia will be a requirement for the collection? Or any chance they stop at Tatis?

@Bridge-Piece_XBL I’d say it’s 99% gonna be Garcia. Investing in those wbc digital deluxe cards maybe rly smart.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I was thinking that too - but then it just dawned on me also that you can usually skip 1 card series, right? I have Tatis, but I need a good 30 cards @ roughly 320K stubs to get Garcia. Doesn't feel worth it to me if you're able to skip.

I kind of feel like it stops at Tatis. The Maikel card is way way out there for a card obsolete this next inning. I can’t expect hardly any of the player base to have him.
Maybe a 3rd or 4th collection would have Maikel after they’ve had a chance to release more packs via conquests and programs but no way they’d make him a part of the first collection.
I am wrong on many things

@JenkinMeyer_PSN I would love for you to be right and me being wrong.....but SDS won't have that. The 30 card difference is all about bying stubs and the cards.

Yeah but they do on occasion have some rationale. They’re not usually really cruel on the first collections.

@JenkinMeyer_PSN I literally bought all the cards to get to Maikel... then changed my mind and just relisted them on the marketplace.
If we NEED them, I'll buy them back later.
But for the moment, I am fine to have the WBC the one that I skip. I just wish I didn't already go up to Tatis. -

So, I’ll just sit on those WBC cards or rent them past Tatis for TA then sell back. I usually do that before all collections anyway.
In past years I always always always buy weird cards in veteran or 2nd half or whatever series if I see them cheap and have extra stubs just to stash for the inevitable collection announcement then make bank
But for now it’s best to sell all WBC since I want LS completed, at least NL.
LS is ALWAYS a big part of future collections. WBC to be determined. The gap of number of cards between Tatis and Garcia is so so big and you’ll lose money if you save those cards and then they immediately lose half value once they announce you don’t need him for a collection. Make money now not later

This could be fun who do u guys think or want the card to be ? Cause it will be a 99 if I remember right. I wouldn’t mind seeing an Andrew jones if it’s a legend we have. If a unannounced legend posey or cargo could be cool if u wanna go even further back wouldn’t mind a magglio card I feel like it’s a of or catcher.

I'm thinking it will stop at Tatis for this first one as well. Garcia will be needed for future collections most likely, but by then the WBC cards should be more attainable. And there is usually one we can skip as well so hopefully that's the case again this year.

oh and Magglio would be incredible - kinda rooting for that now that you’ve mentioned it

Unless you pull ohtani the live series collection should be punted in the short term. Grab all the other cards you want. You dont need to finish live series to compete in this game. I did finish a few of the live series collections. Because i wanted marte, and chone figgins.

I wouldn’t even worry about wbc it’s looking like spring breakout is gonna be the back breaker if u don’t have already. Cards are all 20k+ unless I wanna play a stupid amount of conquest. Are the USA maps worth it?

@Onix_Savage22_PSN put a power mod on him he is great. He is short and a switch hitters with 99 speed and great contact can play every position. Besides catcher.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL yeah I have him In the outfield For the speed he’s elite love him all 3 of the al bosses ( him anibal dp15) have been elite for me power mod is interesting may have to give it a go. Right now I have fielding and contact to play to his strengths.
