How is Ranked vs Events?

I just started playing online this year and mainly just events.
I haven't started Ranked because it was really toxic last time I did ranked but that was like MLB 18/19.
Is Ranked more stressful than Events? I am finding events very fun and the players are not yet elite level.

While you might encounter the occasional toxic player, ranked at the lower levels is super chill and overall has much better matchmaking than events

1st time online this year played about 20 games in events won 2 ,will try ranked soon as got some better players ,and hopefully find players who arent too toxic ,ps am 56 yrs and still enjoy gaming always have ,always will

i'm a little older than you but that's what worry's me about ranked. last time i tried it, it wasn't even baseball. it was just people expoliting the game to win. it was a terrible experience.

Events will always be less stressful than RS because there’s nothing on the line. You lose in ranked you lose ranking points, your record takes a hit & you then have to make up for the loss….Whereas events you just restart after a loss, no harm no foul.
