How is it even easier to steal in this game than it's ever been? Even the best players are like "any guy over speed 50 - pretty much automatic steal....even a pitch out won't stop"

I don’t know. I would have agreed with you but last night, in Egg Conquest, 85 speed rizzuto was thrown out easily by Salvador Perez.
Rizzuto’s steal rating is 15, so I think there’s more to it than just being fast.
It’s rare though that someone gets thrown out. Agree on that!!

The new catcher throwing animations you get depending on the catcher slows it down a lot I feel.. They just look weird. They are much slower compared to prior years..

I'm not even positive they needed pop times. I know it takes into account how fast a catcher transfers ball from glove to hand but Arm Strength took care of that. Infielders and outfielders transfer the ball from glove to hand but don't need pop times. Realmuto is the real deal but his kind are few and far between. If pop times are going to be used SDS needs a better formula for it and Catcher Arm strength too.

I agree they should have fixed other things than adding pop time.

You need 80 arm and pop to get runners out like just above 50 % of the time. The pitcher also needs to slide step bc the added animations are so long with the inconsistent base running speed of players.

its like fielding a bunt, how many times has a guy made it to first bc it takes your catcher animation of turning his "rear end" across the screen for the throw feel like ages =p

The only 3 stats that matter in this game are:

    Power
    Speed
    Control

That’s it. The rest are useless window dressing they’re meaningless stats.

@capardo_XBL I feel like stealing rating actually matters this year appose to just speed. I even find myself stealing with mid speed high steal players more then just high speed players. And the only catcher I have thrown anybody out with is 94 campy and with runners on slidestep and fastballs is a must this year to even have a chance. If not just accept the guy will be standing on 3b in 2 pitches.

Man I have like 100+ steals with Victor Scott II. Singles are easy triples with him
