You and I both. I love baseball games but it’s never going to be perfect. They can’t make it up to everyone’s standards. It’s a sad reality that we fall into. We wouldn’t keep spending money on say the show 27 if 26 was everything. They know this.

SDS has you guys so sucked into the “well it could be worse” category when it could be better. If they didn’t have an MLB license they’d have been out the door a long time ago

It does suck that even the game modes don’t work properly. The gameplay itself isn’t the worst it’s been so unfortunately that’s what I need to take. To your point if you could refund a game (after just a day or whatever it is now) A LOT of people probably would have refunded by now. What impacts SDS is the sales the following year. People (probably even me) will still buy regardless. It sucks and wish it could be perfect but that’s just the gaming reality.

Well we should demand more. This game is a travesty to MLB. Games have been doing it cartridges in the 90’s and we’re settling for this slop.

The only way to demand more is not buy. It’s as simple as that. Obviously a competitor would help but licensing restricts that. That’s why they pay the MLB tons of money a year to restrict competition. No one is gonna buy a game with everyone named “Joe Random”

We have competitors. Madden, NBA2K, College Football, etc
The Show is considered the best of the major sports games already. The competition needs to rise up
And while the competition may be better for things like franchise, DD is light years better than MyTeam or MUT

They probably fired them all last year, and we’re just now seeing the ramifications. During their dev tournament I noticed a lot of rooms with no lights on and a bunch of people maybe saying goodbye.
Studio is [censored] and should be. They didn’t even have a good run. You can’t showcase a game and have a developer tournament and embarrass yourselves as you did.
Cbrev smoked them all and got the [censored] out. Smart move.
With the rumblings from MLB regarding 2027 negotiations and the, let's be real, underwhelming launch and lack of polish and QA testing, I think this may be it. We may not get a game next year. I'm getting MLB 2K vibes right before they gave up completely.
There should have been lights ON during the dev tourney and people fixing bugs but it was all lights off on twitch.

To an extent. I wouldn’t buy madden to play a baseball game. DD is the best UT mode out there but I know you could agree it hasn’t been the best start this year. -

I mean it's not perfect, that's for sure. But I'm still enjoying it. It is what it is. I'm a baseball fan and I love this franchise. It's all I play. If some of you are getting this upset over a game. You r need to put it down and move on. It's not worth getting all bent about.
Baseball stars was a great game. But man did it suck when everything would be erased
